I really hope that Amaya is just in pain and it isn’t a season or career ending injury. He has worked so hard to get to this level. But also, I hope his injury is the spark that wakes this team up and they go apeshit from here on out.
No they need to reinvest, but I have been saying that since 2019 when I didn’t renew my season tix. It was clear that the Cubs and Wrigleyville are there only to make money and they don’t want to actually reinvest back into the team.
Maybe I’m in the minority, but I actually would rather see Caissie in RF to start next year than Tucker. Make the QO and get the draft pick when he signs elsewhere.
It would be nice if the superstar the team traded for in the offseason would play like one. Heck, I would accept Matt Lawton level offense from him right now. It has been a loooooooooooong time since I felt good about him coming up to bat.
Clearly that went above your head. The implication was that if you can’t correct an obviously wrong call then there is no point to the system. Especially when it directly impact the result of the game.
