Cubs (Imanaga) vs Giants (Webb): 8/28/25, 2:45pm

They are having a true cinderella run this season. Every break seems to go their way and they play hard. -
2.4 ft/second faster actually.
-
He made two nearly identical catches on fly balls to that corner the other night. Also I would bet you his sprint speed is higher than Tucker's so he covers ground quicker.
-
Caissie catches that.
-
Got us on the board and just missed a big fly.
-
It is more than mildly sickening that Tucker absolutely refuses to drive the ball to left field and tries to pull EVERYTHING.
-
I certainly could be counted amongst those. A doubleheader sweep today was not anything like I was expecting. Kudos to Caissie, Willi, and Taillon!
-
How can you not love Matt Shaw.
-
Don’t love pulling our hottest hitter though
-
Bold move by Kelly trying to get to third on that play
-
Way to go Nico!
-
Wouldnt hate a drag bunt here
-
Of all the looking strikeouts on Suzuki; that one was one of the least egregious call-wise.
-
Kelly had a brief resurgence and now he is back to not being able to hit anything. He needs to not be batting in the top half of the lineup.
-
Caissie is actually fairly fast when he is sprinting.
-
Or just something other than what we have seen repeatedly hasn't been working?

Eventually luck has to swing back this way right?
-
I mean obviously the one thing, but otherwise Brown was pretty decent for a milquetoast lefty white dude.
-
Who knew the oompa loompa all-stars were so good?
-
I recall Brant Brown had a great rookie doubleheader back in the day. Hopefully Caissie goes big in this game too.
-
You are correct. I saw that in the replay. Second statement I stand by though.
-
Jesus christ cover the bag! I honestly cannot stand Taillon.

Until further notice Caissie should be batting cleanup. He seems to be the only one not affected by the ****** batting curse which has run rampant through the big league squad.
