  1. He wasn't even horsefeathering competitive that inning. horsefeathers off Hendricks.
  2. He was being a good teammate by not letting Heyward make two outs in one inning
  3. The offense really went to horsefeathers after those four runs
  4. IKR! He literally NEVER goes deep into games. I don't think that's what I said but keep being a douche.
  5. Jake needs to go longer in games. We're now an inning away from handing a 0-0 game to middle relievers.
  6. Trust me I get it and this is honestly just a byproduct of God Mode Jake from last June through the Wild Card Game. It's that and the looming issue of having to listen to Coomer soon. I'm not arguing with you, I have the same feeling even though the logical part of my brain tells me otherwise. Yeah I wasn't trying to argue more like trying to tell myself to not be dumb about how awesome he is. Edit: The trust me part should've been "I agree with you."
  7. As long as it doesn't mess with their routine. I question how much 20 less innings in a season impacts October when adrenaline is pumping.
  8. I don't disagree with that at all and I think it's a stupid way to feel. I don't care how good you are as a pitcher if you walk guys it will eventually burn you. Of course it will. Just not nearly as often as it would burn pretty much any other pitcher. Trust me I get it and this is honestly just a byproduct of God Mode Jake from last June through the Wild Card Game. It's that and the looming issue of having to listen to Coomer soon.
  9. Hard to say that about a guy with a 1.72 ERA, but I hear you. The issue is he still allows very little hard contact so he's usually able to create these jams and then get out of them. I don't disagree with that at all and I think it's a stupid way to feel. I don't care how good you are as a pitcher if you walk guys it will eventually burn you.
  10. And this is a very stupid thing to feel because...well look at the numbers but I still feel it.
  11. I haven't had the same sense of "the other team is so screwed" with Arrieta this year and I think it's because of the spottier command.
  12. Kinda do for home field in the playoffs SF isnt going away They're also going to win their division Ah I see what you mean...still way up on them too
  13. Could you imagine if these games even remotely mattered? Kinda do for home field in the playoffs SF isnt going away They're also going to win their division
  14. Could you imagine if these games even remotely mattered?
  15. It sucks because he was in scoring position and he made the read that it was by him but the ball hit the damn ump.
  16. same. best case is he gets a walk. Followed by a walk off Grand Dong
  17. Contreras drilling Garcia on the way down the line would've been priceless.
  18. On a serious note is anyone getting this Oakley commercial on MLB.tv? They literally could not have picked two people that look more like they've never played baseball
  19. I tried to tweet it to Vinestal but evidently he blocked me.
