    Trust me I get it and this is honestly just a byproduct of God Mode Jake from last June through the Wild Card Game. It's that and the looming issue of having to listen to Coomer soon. I'm not arguing with you, I have the same feeling even though the logical part of my brain tells me otherwise. Yeah I wasn't trying to argue more like trying to tell myself to not be dumb about how awesome he is. Edit: The trust me part should've been "I agree with you."

    As long as it doesn't mess with their routine. I question how much 20 less innings in a season impacts October when adrenaline is pumping.

    I don't disagree with that at all and I think it's a stupid way to feel. I don't care how good you are as a pitcher if you walk guys it will eventually burn you. Of course it will. Just not nearly as often as it would burn pretty much any other pitcher. Trust me I get it and this is honestly just a byproduct of God Mode Jake from last June through the Wild Card Game.     Hard to say that about a guy with a 1.72 ERA, but I hear you. The issue is he still allows very little hard contact so he's usually able to create these jams and then get out of them. I don't disagree with that at all and I think it's a stupid way to feel. I don't care how good you are as a pitcher if you walk guys it will eventually burn you.

    I haven't had the same sense of "the other team is so screwed" with Arrieta this year and I think it's because of the spottier command.
