    Okay, then what do you want? OBP? Thats what I'd like, sadly, he sucks in that department too, so far this year. And I'd just like to share my personal reaction of WTH? To the defense that Pierres still doing good, cause LOOK HE CAUSES HAVOC ON THE BASEPATHS. Sorry to dissapoint, but to cause all this havoc, you have to get on base first. I dont disagree that when he gets on base he causes trouble for the pitchers, and that his speed is a great asset, nor do I disagree that said trouble and speed can help manufacture runs. Key phrase, however, "When he gets on base". Speed is good, speed is fine, but you need to be on base to use it.

    Yes, it does. It is ignorant to believe that three plate appearances is enough of a sample size to start a terrible player. Also, I just rechecked HHH's post on the first page, and it showed Neifi as being 0-8 against willis? Which number is correct? If he truely is 0-8, then there isnt even an argument. 3-3 is referring to Neifi's numbers against last night's pitcher, Vargas. Wow... where the world did I miss that? :x The point of my post remains, however.

    Ignorance of baseball + poor logic + sweeping accusations = one really bad post. Get over yourself. What ignorance of baseball did that show? Just because you don't agree with it, doesn't mean it's ignorant. The ignorance that a total of THREE at bats is reason enough to start a career crappy player.

    What happens if he goes 0-3 tonight? Then the next time you face Willis do you put neifi in again? He's still batting .500!! Simply put, that is ridiculous logic. Neifi is a career .270 Batter with a career .300 OBP. Yuck. 3 plate appearances is a terrible judge of someones ability. Okay, so he had a good day. Wonderful. Lets look at the rest of his career, or how about this year. This year when he is batting .207. Want to guess his OBP? Yep. You guessed it, .207. Not a single walk to date. Yes. Thats exactly it.

    Someone mentioned it earlier, but I was SO hoping Maddux would ask to have the ball checked the next innin. I was sure he was going to, as much of a prankster as Maddux is. Brenly also had a great quote while that was happening. Something along the lines of: "Batters will play tricks on the pitcher like that. And Sometimes the pitcher will play tricks right back, say 'you want to see the ball, i'll give you a real close view" Or something. I laughed.

    For what its worth, when Barret was on Rome is Burning after that Cards sweep a week or two ago he said he "failed miserably" at third base, which is why he moved to catching. If thats the case, maybe its not worth it.

    Well, thank God maddux is a P-I-M-P and will win this game by himself. I predict He pitches nine innings of shutout baseball, and hits a solo HR. The cubs win 1-0.

    He hit one over the center field scoreboard. I think Sosa once hit a 500-foot HR on the fly down Kenmore Ave. What, are you on crack? Over the scoreboard? I remember Sosa hitting it, but going over it is like a 600 foot shot. I don't think that's been done. Yes. He hit it over the scoreboard. They were saying if it had been a few feet lower, it'd have hit the scoreboard. And no, it is not 600 ft. There's a rooftop w/ a 465 ft. marker No, sosa's blast did not Go over the scoreboard, It was to the left of it, it did however roll down Kenmore

    Wooooo I love the cubs. This will only be like the third or fourth game i'll get to see any part of, and only the second full game i'll get to see all of.
