Well, after having a night to sleep on it, and reading Barretts and AJP's take on the days events in the paper this morning, I have come to this conclusion. The collision at home was clean, AJP's elbow may have been up, but whatever, clean. The plate slap was still a reallyassholeish thing to do, but barrett didnt see it, so doesntlly doesnt matter as far as the brawl goes. AJP could have pretty easily went AROUND Barrett to get his helmet, instead of adding that little nudge. But he didnt, and Barrett Farnsworth'd him, and he shouldnt have, Barrett has said so himself. From AJP's point of view, I dont think he did too much wrong, the plate slap will stick out in my head as a pretty lame thign to do, reguardles of if barrett saw it or not. And he could have easily avoided that nudge. From Barretts point of view, I understand why he did it. He is laying on his back and he see's AJP coming towards him, and eventually nudge him. So he jacked him. Wrong, but i understand it. Now, aside from all "he shouldnt have done it" and "logic" aside.... I will never get tired of seeing that prick get punched in the face. And Just for entertainment purpouses, I wish Barrett wouldn't have been held back by that ump, Podsednik would have gotten leveled.
