    Oh, and as for me, I cant cheer against the cubs either. I cant even watch them. I havent watched a full game...wow, Since april. And I havent watched more than an inning in a month or so either. I cant even pretend to care anymore.

    I'm sorry, but thats ignorant. Sometimes it seems like you'd be content if we went 25-137. As long as we sweep the Sox and Cardinals, we are ok. It often seems as if you are more of a Sox/cards hater than a cubs fan.

    You think they fire him before the White Sox series? With no offday in between? That'd be awesome. Maybe they'll fire him mid-game. Right in the middle of the field preferably. Like when he is out making a pitching change. Hendry should walk out to the mound, take dusty's hat off, and make him walk out of the park. Through the stands so everyone can throw their beer on him and laugh at him. Right when Dusty is about to exercise a double switch. Haha "Well, Dude ump sir dude, I want to put eh...neifi in for My pitcher here, and eh...Murton should leave the game and dude...how about..." *Hendry walks up* "You're fired, man" "Dude.....I was just about to..." "Leave." *walks out* And with that, Dusty never completed a sucessful double switch in his time as cubs manager.

    If you're close enough to the Sox dugout, you might be able to encourage Ozzie to direct a curse laden tirade your way. I think he was going for something of a challenge. You could say "Hi, my name is vance" and he'd use at least three swears in his response.

    True, but we are talking about THIS year. Why should we continue to let the likes of Rusch and Neifi continue to take starting time when we could be letting the youth play. Maybe Guzman will turn out to be the star everyone thought he could be, Maybe Marmol is a true stud, Marshall has shown that capability, Maybe Pie is really the "Michael Jordan of Baseball." But we'll never know with players like Rusch, Neifi, and Pierre starting everyday. We KNOW what they can do, we've seen what they can do over their whole careers. So why not let the kids play this year, and then keep the best of them for next year.

    Like who - Restovich, Theriot, Sing? Or maybe Pie so the people here can complain for a decade about how he was rushed. Yes Theroit, Sing, Murton (actually allowed to play full time), and Pie. Also, Theres a difference between neifi putting up .270 and Murton putting up .270. Murton has potential to be much better. He is young and will most likely grow into a better player. But By all means, lets continue to start the likes of Neifi and Mabry so we can continue to watch their careers wither away, while our possible future rots on the bench. Look, we already are going to lose this year, so why not lose while giving young players a chance to grow.

    Ask the local liquor store if they've got any. From what I've seen, their brown paper bags are bigger than a lunch sack and smaller than a grocery sack. True. We usually have three sizes. 1. The lunch sack (Juan Pierres head) 2. A Medium sized bag w/out handles (Ideal for face covering) - I THINK these are referred to as 20-lb Bags. I may have that confused w/ the largest size, but I believe 20-LB is correct. U may try asking a manager for these. 3. those big honkin things w/ handles (only for barry bonds sized heads) EDIT: for clarification i thought u said local grocer...I dont work at a liqour store. Try a local grocer for what i'm talking about. haha.

    Eeeehhh thats pushin it. In semi related news, I think star jones is on steroids. Her head is freakin huge. She needs to go back to being really fat so it doesnt look so out of place. Plus, the jokes are better.

    That doesn't sound like an absolutely to me. I think the clubhouse plays a rather large part of the equation. Maybe, But I'd like to think they'd at least give me a chance, whether they respected me or not. And once we started winning some games, then respect would probably grow. Respect is earned.
