    I, in all honesty, don't think his depth perception is totally there. That pitch on the outside part that he used to be able to decipher as a ball or strike, he is unable to do now.

    Certainly glad I wasted 40-some dollars on bleacher tickets last night. Anyway, I'll be on for tonight. It may be a little late (midnightish?) before I get the game thread up but no worries, it will go up.

    So, I've decided to suck it up and go to the game tonight. Go ahead and pay the ridiculous they're asking outside the park. I'm in a bad mood and the cubs could either make that much better or much worse. I'll risk it. anyway, in the event that we lose tonight, I wont be home anytime remotely early enough to start a gamethread, so someone else plz spot start for me. Thanks. GO CUBS.

    Yeah, this is the game where Z needs to earn his paycheck. Burrying the BrewCrew 3.5 back would feel delightful. Plus...if the Cards could lose.. yum.

    Yes, there's no mandatory 10 days in the minors once rosters expand. I believe that the player has to remain down until the end of the minor league team's season (Sept. 3 for Iowa) if that's less than 10 days. After the 30-3 game the Orioles optioned one of their starting pitchers to add another reliever. They optioned him to their rookie league team rather than AAA specifically because the rookie league team's season ends earlier so he could thus be recalled earlier. :lol: That whole situation is just awesome. 30-3. still amazing, jeez.

    I never realized how incredibly lame CSN is until I moved to college where (though being in the heart of chicago) we don't have CSN. Also, I was thinking about just heading up to wrigley tonight and watching from the RF peep-hole. It's between that and hanging out with this girl. I'm leaning towards the girl as it has a better chance of ending well.
