    UM's worst defense ive ever seen. Terrible. The spread is their kryptonite. Why did the Bears want English to coach their secondary? Thats the worst part about UM's defense. Guys are out of position and take bad angles.

    well the brewers are down by 10 after 3 and are on their 3rd pitcher. So they are going to get their ass kicked and tax the bullpen. It could be worse for the Cubs.

    Braun and Fielder are about as good as it gets for them. I mean really are these guys going to do this year in and year out? I see it more likely that they wont than if they will. They are very good players, dont get me wrong, but the numbers they are putting up now are freaking awesome. Keeping with that, with 30 or so games left who is more likely to get hotter than how they are currently playing: Lee/Soriano/Aram or Braun and Fielder? If Fielder and Braun get any hotter the Sun will explode. Brauns numbers are incredibly average driven. The Cubs have it in them to go on a nice run in the next month. Whether they do it or not remains to be seen.

    Yard Work. Im going to be doing some yard work tonight, itd be nice if the Cubs did some too.

    Sheets hasnt pitched in 60 days, this seems like desperation. I have a good feeling about the game tonight. Now Soriano may 'see' more pitches in a plate appearance than Theriot but i would wager thats because he fouls off an extraordinary amount of pitches not because he is 'laying' off pitches. But in the end he makes the pitcher work more. Tonight id like for him to either 'see' more pitches or 'layoff' a couple more than last night, whichever makes Sheets work :wink:

    I was surprised too he stuck with Linebrink. However its probaby not as dumb as it looks. Linebrink has a nasty change and he actually has reverse splits because of it. He's still pretty good against righties but here are his lefty splits. .219/.297 Shouse Vs Lefties: .211/.271 The chicken or the egg. Is JJ splits more important vs a righty or is Linebrinks more important vs a lefty. Edit: Also you know you got Ward coming in after Kendall. Another good candidate for Linebrink. If you take out Linebrink with JJ, Shouse probably wont face Monroe and Kendall before he sees Ward so you will need another lefty vs Ward.
