Kinda what Southside said. Suck on the shell and then eat the nut. I learned this from my wife. While watching a Bulls playoff game last year my wife heard the chant of De-Fense (clap-clap) from the crowd on the TV. She thought they were saying Pea-Nuts (clap-clap). I think she likes peanuts too much.

I was curious about this stat today as well. This is definitly a marked improvement over last year. They have a great OBP and the #1 OPS in the NL in this stat. They are worst in RISP less than 2 outs though, that part they could do better in though. IF its not 2 outs they are $$$.

A good bullpen can give you confidence to play small ball for 2-3 innings. I hate small ball for 9 innings but some games you only need 1 run in the late innings and scratching a run across is all you need. You dont always need 3 runs late in the game to win, sometimes 1 is enough if you can hold the other team down. Keeping games close late can effect what you do with the bat. Starting pitching is far better than a bullpen im not saying that, i just think a very good bullpen can change how you approach the late innings with the bat.

'Gamesmanship' doesnt give TLR carte blanche to be an ass. TLR sells it as 'Gamesmanship' and thinks its cute. Im checking Pujols bat and having the ump check up on Carpenter. TLR started it, double the douche up.

Why doenst Dusty just walk over the scoreboard and take the only Cubs run off the board. It would be easier than what he is doing with his lineup changes.
