  1. Theo identifies Arrieta as a buy-low potential ace, Jed identifies Cabrera. Apple falls far from the tree and all that Probably a dumb take but I'm beyond pissed at this point
  2. He has zero command of anything. Killer stuff means nothing if you just throw it up there and pray
  3. Can this team go one game without having to make a comeback?
  4. If they finish over 75 wins I'll be shocked. I don't buy their rotation or Jordan Walker as an MVP candidate.
  5. Rentals: Gray, Mize, Skubal 1 more year of control: Ryan 2 more years of control: Detmers Anyone else? And what are you willing to trade for these guys?
  6. He's shown zero signs of anything wrong since. 31.2 innings, 31.2% K, 3.2 % BB. I think if there's any concern with Ryan it's that he's another guy that won't pitch into our good defense, only a 38% GB rate.
  7. The few times I've managed to watch Jostin he's looked like the minor league version of Phil Maton. Zero life on the fastball and two good breaking balls he can't command.
  8. There might be a small window between 4-7, but more than likely there's gonna be a double header tomorrow or Sun
  9. I don't know about McGonigle but the good version of Steven Kwan for sure.
  10. I think I've had it. Even if they get out of this, this stretch of baseball has just soured the whole year for me at this point.
  11. Gonna be 5-19 with 9 straight losses at home. Doubt the worst Cubs teams ever did that.
  12. Boy, if you have an average changeup and an average slider, the Cubs might be the easiest team to pitch to in history
  13. There's no "Cubs are in an easy part of the schedule" The Cubs are the easy part of the schedule for everyone else.
  14. Another Cy Young performance from an A's pitcher, what a surprise
  15. he smoked it, I think the wind kept it in
  16. I don't remember Willson being an a-hole to anyone but the other team.
  17. Kepley must be banged up, he's DH'ing a lot lately
