  1. Grimm was... OK this time, at least a lot better than his previous start - 5 innings, 4 hits, 2 ER, 3 BB, 5 K. I wonder why his walk rate has spiked so much this year. He was only walking 2 per 9 last year.
  2. I say they groom DeJesus to be the next manager.
  3. I still remember him saying "The question isn't if Mike Lowell will be a Cub, it's when Mike Lowell will be a Cub." back in '03.
  4. Haha. B.J. Upton is hitting .177/.266/.300. Sweet Jesus.
  5. I'm guessing the package wasn't Kennedy, Bradley, and Skaggs.
  6. He should be. The guy is still living on draft overslot hype. I'd rather have John Andreoli at this point.
  7. [expletive] the Pirates and Cardinals. Why can't this [expletive] team beat the sorry ass Brewers.
  8. Hopefully we can get another Leal for him. That would be completely worthwhile. That's what I was just thinking. Go for someone in the summer leagues or rookie ball.
  9. Is it even worth trading Gregg? I can't believe he'd net anyone that would even end up in the Cubs top 30.
  10. Rumors that Pirates would trade Glasnow to get Bud Norris.
  11. I wonder why not Zastryzny as well, as he's been just as impressive as Skulina.
  12. You sure as hell can make a good case for him I love Sano's power. But he's got the same red flags as Baez without the premium position. He's got the swing and miss, but he certainly doesn't have any plate discipline issues. So you're saying he can't even hit strikes consistently? All I'm saying is that he walks a ton, which is something he doesn't share with Baez.
  13. K, Lake, that's the second time you've done that. Never again.

  15. Wasn't Rosario breaking out last year before he got hurt?
  16. Holy [expletive], you picked a bad night.
  17. -0.1 fWAR and closing.
  18. I can't believe Callis would put Bryant ahead of Almora, Baez, and Soler.
