We also don't know how the Cubs brass views Candelario at 3B. They obviously have every intention of keeping Bryant there, but for all we know they could just stick Candelario in LF.
Then again, Candelario is still only 19 and maybe there would be no harm in a little more seasoning in KC. Then you'd have to hope they both rake in the first half and get promoted.
Not sure. Candelario has done plenty to start next year in Daytona, and I don't think they'd want them splitting time at 3B/DH and getting half the reps they should be.
