  1. Melky? Unless I'm mistaken, he's a free agent at the end of the season...he's put up a 1.7 fwar so far, and I don't think he will be all that costly.
  2. Keep Shark, keep Hamels...sign Melky Cabrera and Jon Lester. Bring up Baez, Alcantra, Bryant. Playoff team in 2015.
  3. This is Lebron James we're talking about?
  4. Signed? Not many but superstars like Wilt, Kareem, Gasol and Howard have been forcing themselves to LA for years. I can only think of a few established superstars in their prime that have switched teams via FA over the last 20 years. Shaq in 96 (LAL), Grant Hill in 00 (ORL), Lebron and Bosh in 10 (MIA) and Howard in 13 (HOU). I'm sure I'm missing a couple though. Fair enough, I was only thinking through signings but forcing trades works too. I'm not sure the same argument can be made with the Knicks, though.
  5. Other than Shaq in 1996, what elite players have the Lakers signed? Kobe was acquired as a rookie and stayed. Am I forgetting some elite players coming to LA?
  6. According to Forbes, DRose is the 3rd highest paid player in the NBA (including endorsements), just behind Kobe and Lebron. Carmelo would be just fine endorsement-wise in Chicago.
  7. So would jordan have had double the endorsements in LA or NY? Is Melo or anyone else MJ? Which Knicks have really blown up the endorsement scene?
  8. Yes. Commentators said no...said flag was waving for a goal kick, not offsides.
  9. That article is about as dumb as it gets. Every single point is stupid.
  10. SICK Ok, this one actually hurts a little.
  11. I remember when Martellus seemed funny and interesting for the first two weeks he was here.
  12. How big is the loss of Pepe?
  13. http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2014/story/_/id/11068709/miami-heat-discussing-options-target-carmelo-anthony-free-agency Wouldn't this be neat?
  14. BTW Tanaka suuuuuuuuuucks and I'm glad we told him to go screw himself.

  16. Time to start focusing on Gordon Bombay's scheme(s)
  17. Like it matters, they won't score anyways They slept on the flight up to Minny, and just never woke up. They've been in St Paul since Sunday, I don't blame them for being sleepy Nope
  18. No big deal Sharp, we get plenty of wide-open breakaways.
  19. Needed that from Sharp...we get production from him, we're unstoppable
  20. Keith has got to stop being so sloppy with the puck..,killing us!
  21. Braves announcers rambling about how sabermetrics really aren't that valuable...no substitute for "what the eyes see." "The computer doesn't know if there's been a death in the family, there's a sick child at home..."...yes, that is what was said.
  22. Olt celebrates the drafting of Ego with another bomb.
