  1. Did we pass on him? I missed that article, I think.
  2. Prediction- Lebron shows up at the World Cup final in the gear of whatever team he is signing with...this will serve as his announcement and will upstage the World Cup on ESPN.
  3. http://www.funnyordie.com/articles/94ea39d871/chris-bosh-and-lebron-james-text-discussion-about-their-next-moves Cool look at some behind-the-scenes stuff!
  4. I bet this is just a ploy by Chris Sheridan to get more eyeballs. No one will care if he's wrong and the winds do seem to be blowing towards Cleveland anyway. Yep.
  5. MoneyMitch is trolling.
  6. "The basketball magician likes music and this pose reflects the same hobby and love."
  7. Who designed that? Link to the post it originated in? This is good stuff for the book.
  8. Mine is just as obvious - Mr. Cub. Ernie came along when I was the age to start getting into baseball and was basically the only reason to follow the Cubs for quite a few years. Wait, you're in your 60s? He's Backtobanks. As in, he goes all the way back to Banks. I guess I was picturing douchebag, 20-something meatball, not old, curmudgeon meatball...but really, either works.

  10. My guy tells me Castro has looked A LOT better this year than he did last year. TIFWIW

  12. This is like playing FIFA on amateur.
  13. i get that you're making fun, but honestly, it's so sad that guys like sullivan, rogers, rogers, telander, haugh, morrissey, muskat, etc. have actual jobs and he can't find one. i mean, most of that list is HOF of terrible worthy. hey! I like David Haugh. http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/cf-dafuq.gif

Sharma's actually pretty good...making fun of Brett more than anything.

  17. Question for the experts here that may have an obvious answer---why don't they keep an actual clock for stoppage time during the game and then put that exact amount on the clock? Seems so simple and smart and then avoids controversy (for the most part).
  18. The worship of MoneyMitch is really something else. Not referring to David, but those fawning over his weak trolling.
  19. "Can't get into specifics" seems to be his big line...what's the guy's pedigree?
  20. I agree, I honestly think that if he stays healthy he's our safest of the big/impact prospects. Which is just insane. It could be argued that Soler is like our 7th best prospect. How many organizations would kill to have him as their top guy? In terms of pure offensive ceiling, Soler was number 1. Baez has it in terms of position, overall value and the like: Soler doesn't have the highest offensive ceiling of our prospects.
  21. I understand how good Russell is and I've not said a bad thing about that portion of the deal. But Shark is a legit TOR pitcher and he has fewer innings on his arm than pretty much any 29 year old stud you're going to find. We got a great talent, but we gave up a great talent too and the 2nd and 3rd pieces are intriguing, but questionable. Not a bad deal by any stretch, but I'm not sure it's exciting either. Is he really though? I guess we will get a better idea over the next few months, but I think he's a 2-3 on a good team.
  22. I love Bosio but we can't just count on him to fix everyone. We can count on him to fix enough. Plus we have tons of relievers. Give me a version of your realistic rotation next year..... Lester Arietta Wood Jackson Hendricks
