  1. Russell's glove doesn't slip in the field, only in the bed.
  2. He wouldn't call playoff games, he'd be at a concert. while doing the robot
  3. maybe David should be an umpire
  4. chili ball got him worried about too many flareups in the outfield
  5. He also pitched at Wrigley with the Rangers in 2016 so add another 8 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, and 7 K
  6. man, i was just thinking that between getting to see the bulls dynasty (and at the age i saw it at) and then seeing the cubs win that world series and the way they did it, i am pretty horsefeathering well set for life as far as sports fan stuff goes. and you can always watch the 86 super bowl on youtube
  7. I bet how you feel about AAA baseball is how a dog trainer would feel if they ever watched you train your dog(s).
  8. hahahah this is the best themed trip, right? I cannot get over how funny Hendricks looks. Can someone photoshop his outfit with the W flag in the background?
  9. edited subject for duke
  10. [tweet]https://twitter.com/iamHectorDiaz/status/1005641030857732097[/tweet]
  11. Are there only 4? Lester, Crawford, Heyward and Yu? I guess Adrian Gonzalez was really a trade/resign but I would include him there because they don't make that trade without him re-signing with Boston I was thinking Adrian Gonzalez as well, but thought that the trade element would kinda exclude "FA signing". He really did perform over the course of that contract though, until age caught up in the last 2 years. Tons of upfront surplus value, above average-ish performance over the middle portion, and a "dont mess it up New York" at the very tail end.
  12. The 2016 World Series MVP worked out pretty well, but perhaps may be under your definition of mega FA signing
  13. Rahm pulled the city's bid as FIFA wouldn't guarantee that significant local financing wouldn't be required to host, or something of that nature.
  14. you, @cubsump, numerous people, most definitely, Javy, are all in the same boat [tweet] [/tweet]
  15. The Wong for Myers/Hand deal is almost as funny as Gyroko for Kelvin Herrea. KC"s window of contention is probably not opening until 2021 so of course they'll trade for an about to be 30 year old who will probably be replacement level for his next two years of team control.
