  1. 45 degree boner for me Incidentally, according to the interwebs, it would take a 40-inch boner to make the average human man to pass out. Tanaka's got me at 35 right now, and the actual signing of him might get me the last five. I'll never understand white guys talking having boners to non-sexual things. A 25 y/o potential TOR arm sound sexy to me
  2. Creighton's Ethan Wragge was launching some ridiculously deep 3's in yesterday's win over Xavier. The guy has insane range. http://s580.photobucket.com/user/wxrobb/media/IMAG0587_zps0e397ce1.jpg.html
  3. Meh, not bad. This draft had the Seahawks taking Manziel at 32. 14 DT LOUIS NIX III NOTRE DAME 51 CB KYLE FULLER VIRGINIA TECH 82 S CALVIN PRYOR LOUISVILLE 113 TE C.J. FIEDOROWICZ IOWA 144 OG CHRIS BURNETTE GEORGIA 167 WR TEVIN REESE BAYLOR 175 DE AARON LYNCH USF
  4. I wonder if having better stats than the opposing team will improve this "win measurement" concept.
  5. went to the creighton-depaul game last night, and was sitting in the beer line at halftime. while waiting, i see a shorter, rounder man stroll up and talk to a few creighton people. low and behold, jim hendry. he then ate 24 hot dogs
  6. Definitely liking that Wilson is part of that group. Certainly sounds like Earl Bennett is not going to be back.
  7. I thought the same thing there for a min. Possibly a move to a 3-4?
  8. wow jay signed to a 7 year deal, jennings and slauson to 4 year deals. emery getting work done.
  9. Not being reported by any Texas sites. Actually I think you meant Texans. i quit 2013
  10. Being reported that Lovie Smith interviewed for the Texas job.
  11. Barry Hinson is an absolute gem with so many great sounds bites. While he called out a few of players last night, he's actually one of the really good guys in college basketball.
  12. Really hard to read into this, as you could say this is a negotiation ploy by the Bears to see if Cutler would be willing to give a team-friendly contract. I never got the sense that Cutler was looking for a $20m/year contract, and I think other teams would be leery given the early results of Flacco's big deal. Realistically, what would be considered a team-friendly deal, $15m/year? With Jeffrey and Marshall emerging as quite possibly the best WR duo in the NFL (still weird to say), I would it pretty surprising to see the Bears let Cutler walk as it would signal a minor rebuild on the offensive side of the ball. It's not hard to fathom that this offense is Super Bowl worthy, but much more difficult to imagine with a rookie QB and/or 35 year old-brought out of retirement-Josh McCown.
  13. So Mack Brown is stepping down

  16. had surgery this morning, out for the year. i hate everything
  17. There are way more pressing needs right now than tight end. While Graham is total stud, isn't there something to say about how much of his success is due in part to Drew Brees? And from a cap perspective, they're eventually going to have to figure out what to do with Marshall and then Jeffrey not too long after that. Although there seems to be some sentiment that Marshall won't be here after his contract expires next season. Be a bummer to lose that duo, because it sure is fun to watch Marshall and Jeffrey wreck havoc on opposing secondaries.
  18. If I'm being honest, Michigan and Ohio State are better examples. They are similar in geography, and obviously in our conference.. Yeah, they're not really better examples. Relative to the Big Ten, Michigan and Ohio State are situated in fertile recruiting grounds, and each have a national brand that brings in high-level recruits from all over the country. Additionally each have very strong academic institutions and there's been a recent trend where elite academic schools are bringing in stronger and stronger recruits i.e. Stanford, Northwestern, Vanderbilt. Compare this to Nebraska where there are what, 3 D1 football recruits a year? And i'm pretty sure that Nebraska is the only school in the Big Ten that doesn't have AAU certification, which I believe they lost shortly after joining the conference. Add those two variables up, and Michigan and Ohio State are in different stratospheres on a go-forward basis, regardless of how Hoke's tenure will end up.
  19. Interested to see how his hangover is going

  22. High-ankle sprain, he's probably out at least the next two games.
  23. Cutler week to week with the dreaded high ankle sprain.
