What’s funny is that I don’t even really think he was that popular with Cubs fans throughout 2015 and wasn’t until Bryzzo started their Instagram page for Grandpa Rossy during Spring Training of 2016 that his popularity really grew. -
As mentioned on the last page, Ross came after Lester was signed. This is true but we were rumored to be interested in Ross before signing Lester and the thought was that it was to lure Jon to the Cubs (or was a condition he had to sign). I remember the board thinking that we didn't need to sign Ross now that we've got Lester (since we already had Welly and Montero signed). Isn't the Dodgers network still, after like 5 years, only available on 1 carrier that is only available to like 50% of the market? That would be awful if it happened with the Cubs. If the Cubs got as much money as the dodgers did (which resulted in them having this problem) I'd be good with watching them on MLB.tv and paying the $5 a month for a proxy Good point. I guess all that money would be worth trying to figure all that out.

Is there something to be said for the Brewers trying to keep Darvish from signing with the Cubs for any kind of reasonable contract? Well also according to the Barstool guys, Darvish has been a Cub for a month so we're good there.

That's pretty funny. Never seen him do that before in a game. Was he upset about some non-call or something? click the link That was a very fun last few minutes of the quarter. bulls really took it to them. Of course the Dubs switched to another gear and are now pulling away but that’s ok. I love that the Bulls punched the Warriors in the mouth and made them make adjustments at halftime. Obviously they aren’t talented enough to go toe to toe with GS but at least they are a team that isn’t going to let you come to town and coast to a win either

I'm reading the QB coach is still available. Oh...I thought I remember reading that Dave Ragone was going to be retained because of his relationship with Trubisky last season. -

What roles are still available on the offensive coaching staff? OC and QB coach are filled already which to me would seem like the only roles Bevell would consider. Maybe a generic "Assistant Coach" or something might work. -
Slightly deceiving. If they were in the pacific there would be 4 teams behind them in the standings. If they were in the east with that point totals they’d be in the playoffs. But yeah not a great season at all. 3 points out of a playoff spot and one of the teams ahead of them has 3 games in hand. All that said, go on one 8-1-1 run or something like that and they are probably on solid footing. Not saying it will for sure happen or anything but who knows. The real concern is Crawford. No one knows anything about why he’s on IR and recent comments from players suggest it might not be an injury keeping him out.

The most common line in Vegas was Vikings -5.5 I’m pretty sure in the few rare situations I’ve seen similar irrelevant end of game XPs, they have decided to kick the XP but this time with the fate of the bettors on the line they take a knee. Btw here is a Vegas sports book during the XP “attempt”

I don’t know if it’s because the Bears have been so irrelevant for so long or because I don’t get as amped up about rivalries as I get older (with the exception of arch rivals) but I can’t say I’m rooting against the Vikings making it to the Super Bowl. Think it would be cool to see them make it with everything they’ve gone through with QBs the last couple of years. The last time they were a serious contender with Favre in the NFC title game I was very very against them but I just don’t feel the hate right now.

I wanted to go at least 1-1 against Purdue and Sparty. After Tuesday I was hoping they didn’t miss their chance and obviously they didn’t. With the young talent on this team and the incoming recruiting class, I see a top 10 team in the near future
