  1. Didn’t they say each team gets two in the playoffs? Oh I didn’t hear that
  2. Now the Cubs will lose their challenge in the 1st inning because there’s not enough evidence
  3. I highly doubt Chili Davis gives a horsefeathers about which way the wind is blowing
  4. Why is ESPN so bad at accurately displaying balls and strikes?
  5. This is the least nervous I’ve ever been for a Cubs playoff game. I was more nervous yesterday. Not sure why
  6. I hope the Rockies will rue not getting that 2nd run home
  7. We should hire a pitching coach in the offseason that can help or pitchers walk less batters
  8. Im sure those will be called strikes when the Cubs are batting
  9. Gotta help Freelands confidence to start the game with a lead
  10. I’m sure the heart of the Rockies order won’t make us pay for walking a left hander to start the game. Wow Lester can’t throw strikes
  11. I mentioned that yesterday. I did some additional digging and I believe the only team that has faced more teams from their respective league is the Braves who have faced everyone except the Nats and Brewers
  12. MLB Tonight crew was doing the same I felt. Kyle Freeland is Madbum, David Dahl is the most dangerous 7th hitter ever, etc etc. I get it. Everyone knows about the Cubs and their played. They are trying to hype up this game by hyping up the Rockies players who are relatively unknown
  13. It might not be true but the reasons all make sense as small factors that add up to the Cubs deciding to go another direction. Joe was also apparently the one pushing to get rid of Mallee and hire Chili Davis. Who knows? Well we might in a few days
  14. Factoid: Cubs are 5-2 when facing elimination under Joe Maddon. They’ve scored 37 runs in those games and given up 39. Before 2015, the Cubs were 5-14 when facing elimination. Also, they eventually lost 4 of the 5 series that they won those games in. Golden Era indeed
  15. Watching playoff highlights from 2015 and 2016 waiting for this and boy did we used to dong. I miss it. Give me those strike out or dong days back
