    Never would have expected every other NLC team besides the Cubs be under .500 3 weeks into the season after all the talk about how competitive the division would be.

    Frustrating performance tonight. Obviously Vegas is just a better team, even when accounting for hockey playoff randomness. Hopefully the Hawks can at least take 1 of the next two to make the series interesting

    This whole thing is fascinating in a sad way. Right as the news breaks that the Big Ten presidents voted to cancel the season, a vote where Michigan voted to cancel, Harbaugh releases a statement urging to play the season stating how well the safety protocols he’s put in have worked. Now a ton of UM coaches and players are tweeting statements of support and desire to play and those tweets are being retweeted by the official UM football account.

    Astros about to drop to 6-9 (nice) and while it’s too early to say “wow look how bad they are when they aren’t cheating”, they don’t look like the same team to me. Maybe it’s just a slow start but I’m enjoying it, especially with Altuve, Bregman and Springer all struggling.

    Marlins bilked taxpayers out of millions of dollars and only got scolded for it....COVID outbreak Cardinals illegally hacked into another team's servers and only got a slap on the wrist....COVID outbreak Watch out Astros and Red Sox.

    I turned on the CBJ-Leafs game and it was 3-0 Leafs, just checked the score 4-3 CBJ. Nice comeback. I know people like to rip on the Leafs and laugh at their misery, but after going through that with the Cubs and finally getting that championship, I find myself rooting for them. They have so many inept failures its sad to me (ok fine maybe a little funny). I don't mind CBJ either, it took them awhile to get it together as a franchise (I miss those 5-6 wins against them every year as a Hawks fan) but now they are fun.

    7 inning doubleheaders suck, but with the Cubs bullpen I can't say I'd be super disappointed if we had to schedule some....less innings for the pen to cover is certainly a good thing.

    It’s ridiculous how angry I’m getting about the effect of this on our run differential. Down to +7 currently which is also how many games over .500 we will be after this game

    Nico is hitting his first MLB rough patch. Think that’s 0 for his last 14 and just swung at a really bad ball 4 with the bases loaded. Adjustments time!

    And the Royals have scored more runs in the 3rd than they had the previous 3 games of the series combined

    It’s Fox’s fault. 67% of our losses this year if we lose today are Fox games.

    Counterpoint: he’s getting drilled by the Royals But seriously yeah. He’s not Jacob deGrom he will get hit but if he’s not walking half of the batters he will surely be a better pitcher than he was in 2018
