  1. Cubs hits the last few games: 5 4 4 7 23 5 (so far)
  2. How often do you see a team win 3 of 4 in a series but get outscored by 15+ runs?
  3. This really should have been the thread title
  4. The Bulls have lost by 15+ points in 11 of their last 22 games. Literally half the games the Bulls have played over the last 2 months have been a 15+ point blowout
  5. We all knew this is exactly how this series would play out. You don’t play like the 3rd worst team in the NBA for the last 2 months and then expect to be competitive with the defending champs. Bucks shot terrible in game 1 and missed a ton of FTs in game 2 while guarding DeRozan straight up. Once they got their shooting stroke and made simple adjustments things went back to normal
  6. This is a total Bears score - 5 FG and a safety that is
  7. You’d also assume that the Cubs used up all their offense in this game and would score 3 combined runs in the next 4 games
  8. The Cubs have scored 9 runs in 4 games against the Pirates
  9. As things are going south I’m looking for reasons to stay invested in this team. Keegan Thompson is one
  10. Last 5 Bulls home games: 0-5 with a -102 point differential (including today)
  11. Man this Bulls game is pathetically bad let’s flip on over to the Cubs gam- oh wait they suck too
  12. They are going after Zach on defense as much as possible. Has led to about 10 wide open 3s.
  13. This is why i gave the bulls no better than a 20% chance. The bucks even without Middleton are better and have the best player in the series.
  14. but they wouldn't be enjoying a wrigley day game because it's raining. Presumably they'd have time to make plans for the makeup game or sell their tickets if they can't make it. If its a doubleheader tomorrow or Sunday, at least they have more than a few hours to change their plans. Maybe they bought tickets to this game last week because they wanted to go to a Cubs game in the afternoon and a Bulls playoff game at night. Now they have to scramble to sell the tickets for a crappy team playing a crappy opponent in crappy weather. I suppose that's just the risk you take when buying tickets and while it sucks they just have to deal with it. But before this year (and 2020 with no fans at the games) I've never heard of moving around the game time on the day of game so I would've been completely caught off guard if I had tickets today.
  15. It's just fairly unprecedented to move the game time 2 hours before the original start time. Maybe if it becomes the norm it won't seem so annoying.
  16. Must be so inconvenient for the fans who took half days off of work to enjoy a Wrigley day game. The Rays game I understood...it was only an hour and the Rays aren't coming back to Chicago (Sox or Cubs). But moving a game against the Pirates back 6 hours when the Pirates can easily play a DH at some other point in the season is strange.
  17. Can we go back to ripping the Ricketts for being cheapasses now?
  18. Time to figure out the adjustments pitchers made. 0-7 with 5 K in his last 7 AB
  19. what would be the lameo dirtbag move in this situation, simply releasing him?
  20. Milwaukee area reporter. FWIW he's the only person reporting this thus far.
  21. Not exactly a glowing reveiw. Yeah I mean it doesn't mean a ton especially given the new offense, new coaches, new receivers and working on mechanics but getting a report like that during fluff season is certainly not what you want to see. Plenty of time though.
