  1. I pretty much stopped watching the Cubs - Suzuki is hitting under .300 now? Really is another Seiya Fukudome Edit: I’m kidding btw
  2. Here’s some grades on the Bears picks. Grades are stupid but gives a little analysis at least To be fair these are one of those “everyone made great picks” draft grades. Didn’t see a ton of grades below a C
  3. The Cubs are 2-8 in their last 10 games with a RD of -1 That that was a lot cooler when it was 2-7 with a RD of +9
  4. I’ve never seen a teams fans advocate for the firing of a GM who has been here for 3 months but here we are.
  5. And this is the one guy we actually managed to extend
  6. You’re right I did not think a rebuild included sabotaging last years 1st round QB I mean literally this was always a risk. It wasn't his guy. If you don’t believe in him trade him while he still has value. If you keep him give him a chance to succeed
  7. Just pulled a list of top 25 WR in the draft and didn’t see this dudes name
  8. No but Bears fans demanded a rebuild and a stark change from Pace without realizing what that might mean. You’re right I did not think a rebuild included sabotaging last years 1st round QB
  9. Trying not to overreact but do they want Fields to succeed?
  10. Let me get this straight, that pick went from the Lions to Vikings to Packers?
  11. he sounded non-committal in his remarks and KC Johnson even said Bulls fans are freaking out, can you give us some indication of where the bulls stand, and his response was equally non-commitattal. That said, I think that's just how zach talks and he doesn't want JR to low ball him. If the Bulls offer him the max he will sign
  12. hahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  13. I think this is why eventually the portal will calm down after this initial flurry the last few years. There will be more transfers than before but the more high major players that transfer and end up at a low major school, the more appealing it will be to stay at your school, develop and end up in the rotation like historically has happened. These days it seems like if a highly rated recruit comes in and barely plays their freshman year they will be in the portal as soon as the season ends.
  14. Easily rattled. I said that the first time he pitched even though it was a relatively clean performance with a big lead. Good stuff but looked rattled.
  15. I don't think that's the kind of 'ultimate competitor' example DeRozan thinks it is lol
  16. Loved this reaction to Wisdom's HR last night by Seiya
  17. I agree that it was good to see, but he also only had 1 rebound, 0 assists and 4 turnovers in 35 minutes. I'll take the positives where they come though
  18. 2 outs no one on in the 8th turns into at least 2 runs and a tie game lol
  19. Not if you take 100 Fake edit: oh it appears they only took 52. Yes that’s bad
  20. Plus that Bulls team pretty much sucked outside of the 3 alphas. Absolutely no depth. Paul horsefeathering Zipser was getting crunch time minutes in those games. I think its closer to the 09 Celtics series where the Celtics were expected to walk all over the Bulls even though KG was out. But the Bulls had some great individual players and played hard causing it to ultimately be a very closely contested series. Without Middleton we went from 0 chance of winning to some chance. I think 20% sounds about right. i'd probably put it higher what the bulls did in game 2 was not that different from what they did in game 1, except they shot like garbage in game 1 and were still in it. obviously, their defense has to keep disrupting them the way they have. but it's 2 games now that they've done that, and on the road. it's not just a one game fluke. these first two games have been highly competitive and both could've gone either way. the bulls have HCA now. the bucks are likely losing an all star (or, otherwise, he's hobbled). it's higher than 20%. that said, watch them get blown out in the next 3 now entirely and only because i said all this. my guess is they lose in 6 but that is partly just a defense mechanism lol Looks like we were all way off. We were never anywhere near a 20% shot of winning this series imo
