I blocked off 1-3pm today as Do Not Disturb, but of course my VP decides to schedule a meeting from 1:30-2 and he's obsessed with cameras being on for his meetings so going to be an interesting 30 minutes of watching out of the corner of my eye lol

What a terrible trade the Vuc deal is turning out to be... Last year his acquisition was defended because it helped bring DeRozan here. 1 because they were teammates at USC, but also because it assured DeRozan that he wasn't joining a lottery team going nowhere. DeRozan has been awesome and brought many great moments last year but in hindsight it may have been better if DeRozan didn't come here, causing us to build this mismatched win-now-but-not-nearly-good-enough team. You could also say though that the moves were fine but not adding any high volume shooters to this mix was a death sentence. LaVine has lost explosiveness but as that article brings up, a lot of his ineffectiveness at the rim can be attributed to spacing issues. Teams are packing the paint and daring the Bulls to burn them deep but we can't. It really has me questioning what AKME is doing.

Netherlands wins group A. USA will play Netherlands at 9am CT on Saturday with a win today, unless England loses to Wales or draws and the US wins by 5 goals or by 4 and manages to score more total goals than England (currently 6 to 1 in favor of England)

Definitely number 2. We need help everywhere and the ability to have a top 3 pick when we don't need a QB in a year with high profile top of the draft QBs is an absolute blessing we have to take advantage of. Would be fantastic to get an elite stud like Anderson but seems more valuable to be in a situation where you get an extra mid round pick this year and then get 2 first round picks each of the next 2 years.

Yeah, the same kind of good that Mitch used to look like in essentially garbage time. I'll take my chances on GB's run of franchise QB's being over once Rodgers becomes an ex-Packer. That wasn’t garbage time. Look it’s a couple drives. I’m not saying he’s the next HOF Packers QB but he didn’t look lost like he did his last time out. Maybe not garbage time but Philly’s defense was mostly giving them space to complete the short passes to keep the clock moving. At least in the last drive. Obviously he had the 63 yard TD that was solid

I still agree with the logic with the crappy FA market. You are either picking WR 1st or 2nd round anyways so instead Claypool was that pick, not that he’s done a ton of impressive things so far. Not saying it was a great move, but a defensible one. Poles will make up for it when he picks up 2 future 1sts to move down 8 spots so someone can grab Stroud.

FWIW Eberflus said Fields is improving and there’s a real chance he plays next week Still not rooting for individual losses, especially against GB. I’ll enjoy the benefit if we do lose but would sicken me to see Fields breakout season end at 3-14 Actually correction today I was rooting for a loss with pretty much every player I care about for the future out including Fields. But I’ll be rooting to beat the Packers next week

I have tickets to the game against Green Bay next week. If Fields isn't playing then I don't think I want to go, lol. I’m gonna be scouring the market looking to take my kids to their first game. Normally GB would be a tough ticket but I’m guessing GB fan enthusiasm is low too

Sucks because we could have had 2 and 34 overall. I still get the logic behind the trade for Claypool but that’s tough to swallow. Either way trade down and collect picks and we’ll be fine. Poles is gonna do some magic to get us a haul IMO
