    No, its just that the entirety of the Cubs decisions this year are based off not hurting Hosmer's feelings.

    Not as good as they were going 11-6, not as bad as they are now going 4-8 in their last 12. Considering we don't have our best 26 guys on the roster right now I'd say there is room for improvement. The crappy thing is that their schedule coming up is so tough I'm worried about a tailspin that we can't recover from. The goal should be to hang around enough so that we're talking deadline additions instead of deadline subtractions.

    This is a good spot to brag about being in DC on business on Monday and going to the Cubs-Nats game. I was sitting in section 135 - literally 4 rows behind the entire Michigan football team! What are the odds? Got a picture with Harbaugh, chatted with Denard Robinson, got a huge cheer yelling "horsefeathers ohio" as I walked up the steps and past the team. Great night! Reference to how close I was sitting:

    Wow the site has been up for 16 hours and I had no idea, I kept going to the old domain. Glad to be back! There was at least 40 different times I thought to come here and read or comment on something before remembering we were down.

    Was really hoping we could build up a cushion before the death march against good teams but instead seem to be heading back down to earth. Thankfully the A’s series has kept us over .500 for now

    In addition the oline is a bit better off but surprised no centers or any other line depth as well. Oluwatimi from Michigan would have been an excellent Center choice in the 5th

    So as it stands right now, the only times the Bears will pick in their allotted draft position is in round 3 and round 7

    My phone shows they have 133, 136, 140 and 148? I’ve been at a wedding all weekend so relying on various apps to keep me up to date and that’s what it says

    Bears have a stretch coming up at the end of the 4th start of the 5th with 4 picks in a 16 pick span. Noting the discussion on roster filler are we taking some gambles here? Other than Edge and Center, any specific areas to target?

    The second best Texas RB in this draft yay i have no idea about any of these guys. Doesn’t seem like guys that I’d want but no one really knows how these things will turn out

    Who are the Bears thinking about at 32? Would be really interested to see what they'd have to give up to get their own pick back and how it compares to Claypool. I'm thinking maybe one of the 2nds and that early 3rd. Seems steep but you are moving up 20 spots in the 2nd round.

    So assuming Wright can start Week 1, what does the Bears line look like? LT - Braxton Jones LG - Tevin Jenkins C - Cody Whitehair RG - Nate Davis RT - Darnell Wright Depth: Patrick, Borom, Leatherwood Obviously still the rest of the draft to go and likely another wave of FA to add to that. I don't hate that line?

    Draft grades are utterly meaningless but since I'm looking at them you have to also NFL.com - A PFF - "Average" CBS - B+ The Athletic - D- Bleacher Report - B+

    Why would he leak that? Because he thought it was true or because he thought it would somehow raise his profile? Never understood the Levis hype. He seemed like a day 2 or even day 3 pick to me. Not saying he can’t turn into a decent or even good QB but seemed like the amount of development he needs gives him a higher bust rate than most 1st round QBs
