Ho hum 2 more walks for PCA, now passed his career high in June
  2. UMFan83
Awful. Not that we have other options but he’s actively hurting the team.

Always just a little bit better when it comes against the team that gave him to us for 2 months of Javy

    1) I know what it feels like to get a 0-0 draw against England 2) I know what its like to get a disappointing result against Ghana 3) I know what it feels like for a player to have the ball come to them right in front of the net and sky it in the dying minutes of a scoreless game This game really speaks to me as a USMNT fan

Fair. I liked him because he was the best player for my team but there were definitely several moments from him or things that he said where I cringed. But I do see a lot of that Michigan team crediting him for being a leader behind the scenes and bringing the team together. But those leadership traits aren't going to shine as much in the NBA because he will likely be a role player. I'd be happy if the Bulls took him because he's a Michigan guy but I think the Bulls are better off going with younger talent with higher ceilings and Yax is better off with a better team where he can slide in somewhere and fit with the established culture in place. I mean the Thunder would be perfect IMO.

Definitely excited to see what happens. I cannot believe what a disaster the org was the previous 5 years or so
  7. UMFan83
I'll believe it when I see it. The ownership is still the penny pinching slow moving idiots that put the org in this place. But yes competency in the FO and HC could overcome that for the time being. Lets hope.

Having Messi and Mbappe go back and forth scoring goals on the same day is amazing.

they're apparently working on hiring him as "interim coach". Not sure how you work to hire an interim coach, I would have thought you just appointed one, but I'm guessing its to prevent that 15 day portal window opening until they've made a decision and probably gives him special consideration for the job and prevents him from being poached.
  10. UMFan83
Do you think that because teams have spent their NIL allotments? Because I'm pretty sure the portal still opens up for a specific time period after a coach leaves (have a lot of experience with this as a Michigan football and basketball fan) This is gutting. I wouldn't trade what happened last year for anything, those are lifetime memories and while there's no guarantee Michigan will go back to being a middle of the conference Big Ten team, it seems much less likely that they'll have a season anything close to last year any time soon.

Then not sure what you missed, that was an entertaining game.

I don't think it's raining at Wrigley yet. Craig has to be pissed, though he knew what he signed up for.

Probably one of the worst losses of the season. You can’t blow a 5 run lead in the 7th ugh
  14. UMFan83
Seiya and Happ are a combined 12-51 at getting a runner home from 3rd with less than 2 outs
  15. UMFan83
Bases loaded 0 outs and your 2-4 hitters due up and they get 1 run on a groundout. Good work
  16. UMFan83
Really needed to get that 7th run home from 3rd but shockingly Seiya failed
  17. UMFan83
A couple of weeks ago Webb was one of the few guys I trusted out of the pen. But after today he's given up runs in 4 of his last 5 appearances (the one appearance he didn't he pitched 0.1 IP) and has a 15.75 ERA during that span
  18. UMFan83
This team just doesn't have enough to truly compete. Pitching staff is held together with glue
  19. UMFan83
Cubs pen gave up 8 runs in 1.1 IP wow
  20. UMFan83
    Throw strikes dude
  21. UMFan83
tie game, still no one out yikes
  22. UMFan83
We had a 5 run lead in the 7th lol
  23. UMFan83
    im not having fun
  24. UMFan83
well this would suck to blow
  25. UMFan83
If getting beaned in the head caused Nico to go downhill, will getting hit in the head make Bregman a competent hitter now?
