Let’s not overreact to 2 losses, one with the offense having an off day that they were overdue for and the next by 1 run to the first place team.
it’s not ideal but not ready to regret any decisions based on 2 games. They have played 106 games and won half of them but have a RD that suggests they have played like a team 10 games over.
Is this right? The cubs are 25-40 against teams above .500 and 28-13 against teams under .500? I knew the cubs struggled against good teams but I didn’t think it was that bad
This game pisses me off so much. Extremely winnable and they likely win if Morel hits it 2 feet harder or their highest paid pitcher doesn’t get lit up for the 7th straight start.
but mostly it feels good to care enough to get angry again
If we lose the division by one game I’ll remember Morel missing a game tying HR by 2 feet
edit: oh wait I thought that was the 9th. Well if we lose I’ll remember that
ERA over his last 7 starts: 8.47
Stroman is tanking his performance so that he's forced to pick up his option for next year. THATS how much he wants to be a Cub
Cuas has reverse splits this year, seems to do better vs LHP
Side conversation but does it seem like there are a lot more reverse splits hitters/pitchers than there have been in the past? Maybe I’m just noticing it more but seems like I see it a lot
