4 hits in the last 12 innings. The offense just doesn’t seem to be playing that well lately but they are still averaging close to 5 runs per game which is impressive.

Yeah that was honestly bizarre and it does throw off perceptions of how Poles operates a bit. He also could have likely gotten a 3rd 1st round pick in the trade for 1.01 but went for an established player in DJ Moore (which I'm not saying was the wrong move at all, just goes a bit against a hyperfocus of building through the draft). Yeah I dunno I guess I retract my original statement but I still believe its unlikely the Bears trade for JT.

Yeah, even though I’ve been bitching about struggling against bad teams during this stretch, I’d be more than satisfied with 8-4 during these 12 games. So far we’re 6-3

Sounds like the starters will play some this weekend. Makes me a little nervous considering at least 3 starters on the o-line will be out and Buffalo is also playing their starters but I guess a good test of depth since I don’t think we know for sure how long Jenkins and Wright will be out.

Really doesn't make any sense at all. Seems like a move Pace would make, not Poles. But even if the report is true, it could have been Poles reaching out and saying 'just checking what is your asking price' and once they say '2 first round picks' or some crap like that, the discussion is over. I highly doubt they would trade one of their 1sts next year for a RB even one that is as good and young as Taylor. And then on top of that sign him to a crazy extension (im assuming that's what this is all about right?). I personally think Poles wants those two 1st round picks in case Fields does not make the leap this year. And if he does he has the ability to get 2 high value players that will be more meaningful to the future of this franchise than a RB. Also I don't think the Colts are serious about trading him. This is the same crap Ekeler pulled last year and the Chargers also gave him permission to seek a trade.

dunno he writes for a couple Colts websites it looks like, but ill be honest I have no idea if hes legitimate and sometimes my mind forgets that blue checkmark is more likely to mean they arent legit these days lol
