    What a difference a weekend makes Last weekend: -Bulls piss away home opener to Sacramento -Michigan almost loses at home to Ball State and looks to be no match for OSU -Bears play like crap and lose at home to Miami This weekend: -Bulls play crappy, but beat solid Indiana team -Michigan dominates Indiana on the road, giving me renewed confidence heading into OSU -Bears play great on the road, make the plays needed and beat the Giants. BTW, it was really nice to see a Bears game that wasn't either: A) A blowout B) A sloppily played win Yes there were sloppy moments in this game, but even though the Bears ended up winning by 18, it really felt like a competitive football game between 2 of the conference elite, with the Bears looking like the better team in the end. As great as it would have been to win by 40, I really enjoyed a back and forth football game that ended up with the Bears winning for once. This is what I dreamed about during those 4-12 seasons.

    boy was I wrong. not only am I p'd about not getting OSU this year, the terrible officiating in the UM game is looming larger and larger. I honestly don't think your good enough to be a national title contender, but then again I think you guys have played well enough to deserve a chance to prove that you are. With the Big 10 being as down as it is, you pretty much needed to win all your games to be considered for the title.

    haha, I don't see the point of that one AP voter voting for Michigan to be #1 this week. This game is for unanamous #1.

    Oh and BTW, I'm sure by Thursday or Friday there will be a thread in Rants about the overhyping that this matchup is going to get. I think this game deserves all the hype that it will get. Arguably sports greatest rivalry, with both teams undefeated and one win away from a National Championship game bid. This is going to be awesome! (unless Michigan gets blown out)

    Seriously, what does he see in this team? Oh well, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I think he could have made alot more in Anahiem via endrosements as well, given the very high Latin population. Do Mexicans typically identify with Latins from other regions such as DR?

    I've said a lot of bad things about Ramirez, his effort, his personality, etc, but by keeping his word and going with his "hometown discount" he really won some points in my book. Thanks Rammy.

    Player B is Errormiss Correct. Players A and C are both players everyone on the planet wants on their baseball teams and who made a lot of money on the FA market. Player A I've just realized is Beltran See how much better Aramis is than Beltran giong into their FA offseasons? And Player C is awesome, but his own fans hate him. I thought it was ARod, but when I looked it up, his OPS wasn't 1.206 that last year. I think you have a typo with taht OPS. Certainly makes sense that ARam's numbers match up with these guys. He's a solid player. I still can't shake the feeling that he's not in that class though...something must be wrong with me.

    I'd guess that WGN will still buy the rights to carry games. The Cubs were on WGN before they were owned by the Trib; I can't see why they wouldn't be after. Would you want to broadcast bad baseball?

    Hendry's gotta spend his money somehow in order to 'appease' the fans. How about spending some of that money on higher quality food and beer without raising prices? Lets do it, I gotta have something to get me through the long summer
