If I'm Jones and I know I'm getting traded, I 'accidently' get picked off -
Why are you guys blaming this on the relievers or Lou? This loss goes squarely on Mike Fontenot for getting picked off 1st base in the 1st inning. He doesn't get picked off and this game is tied right now.

This offense reminds me a lot of the Marlins 2003 offense. With a little more pitching this team could be a world series contender

I would say so. Considering Dempster isn't available today, and Marquis isn't exactly known for his quality starts as of late, its quite a gamble to leave 10 pitchers available for this game, meaning that there has to be some good reason why a roster move wasn't made

I don't think anyone said that. I said that if we won 2, I'd be ecstatic. It definitely doesn't look likely though. But that's why we play the games I guess

Aramis' injuries are just something that we have to live with. I will take 120 games of 35+ HR 100 RBI production a year. It's not like we usually have to worry about having him healthy for the playoffs anyways.

C'mon the Cubs are 7.5 games out of first. It's not like we are battling back and forth for first place. I am assuming the Brewers aren't even looking to this weekend as a 'big series' -
We are facing their 2 best pitchers in this series. I don't like our odds. If we win 2 of 3 I'll be ecstatic.

Details? Check out the game thread after the 2nd inning. I didn't hear it but apparently he was cussing and calling the Cubs minor leaguers. For some reason Gameday Audio didn't cut the mics after the Rangers scored 3 runs and Ronnie started ranting (leads me to believe this happens on the regular). You could apparently hear a woman's voice say "Ronnie, stop it" after his rant as well.
