A lead! I will campaign my butt off, but I will probably get brutally annihilated by raw. Great great poster with insight to his baseball posts that I could only dream of. I do try to be a good member though, trying to deliver "breaking news" and different perspectives when appropriate, as well as interjecting humor when its often not needed, and sometimes when it is. I am your 2006 HR Derby champ as well don't forget. For any UM haters that plan to vote against me for my college team affiliation, I ask not to judge me by my college team, as it is irrelevant. I am a Chicago fan, and I let my love for the city as its sports teams that don't wear black and white show. I BLEED Chicago. So if you need a reason to vote for me, make that the one. (However, if you WANT to vote for me due to my college affiliation, go right ahead ;)) But honestly, I won't take it personally if you vote for raw, hes fantastic. In fact, I might withhold my own vote to decide.

Jacque Jones was doomed from the start with the Cubs because of the contract given to him. I think Jacque is a really nice guy and wasn't terrible in his only full year with the Cubs. He doesn't deserve the racist comments and random booing that Cubs fans gave him. He will always have a negative impression of this city and Cubs fans because of it. Oh well.

I heard it on the espn1000 on the way home Soriano LF Fontenot SS Lee 1B Ramirez 3B Floyd RF DeRosa 2B Hill C Pie CF Lilly P Fontenot at SS? Should be interesting. Yeah, he's been taking grounders at SS the last few days. Apparently Lou really wants to get him and DeRosa in the lineup. Hopefully he doesn't have a Theriot like flameout

if only there was a nsbb obsessed weather man to clue us in to the likelihood of Cubs baseball tonight. It will be fine tonight. The VOR will be ten rows back of the Cubs dugout surrounded by beautiful and adoring women. No way it rains on his parade. If i was surrounded by beautiful women I would have no problem if it poured. With that said my girlfriend is going to the game...I hope she isn't around you. PM me her cell phone number. I'll make sure your little lady has an enjoyable evening. She's 6'5" 270. You think you can handle her? Remind me not to eat at your brothers restaurant if that is going to happen to me.

Yeah but Izturis is 22nd (out of 28 qualified) in the league in SS Fielding %, 28th (DEAD LAST) in the league in range factor, and 22nd in zone rating. -
I've heard some people criticize WHIP as a 'roto' stat and useless in statistical analysis, and I hae to wonder if thats true when looking at these two guys. Lopez has a 1.26 WHIP which is slightly above average, but has only 8 walks and 5 HRs in 46 IP. Lilly has a 1.05 WHIP, but has walked 18 and given up 12 HR. Lopez's ERA is 2.93, while Lilly's is 3.90

The Cubs are 6.5 back in the wild card. With the way the Brewers are playing, unless we sweep them this weekend, we should look at this as our better playoff chance, even with 6 teams to jump
