    If so, then Hendry will go out this offseason and find the biggest cokeheads he can and sign them to long term contracts. Lol, yep. He'll also try sign every short reliever he can find to revamp the rotation. I don't think they'll win it all, but they'll win a series. We'll all get our fill of hearing the feel good stories. So inspiring, just goes to show kids...if you don't give up and snort coke/drink and drive you can achieve the impossible. I'm suprised the whole "Winning for Josh Hancock" angle hasn't been played up. I guess the BAC, drugs and speeding that led to his demise have made the story harder to play up.

    Yup, exactly. The Cubs are fighting for a playoff spot and getting screwed with a ridiculous strike zone, but the new Lou just sits there and takes it. Why does even a known fiery manager become a teddy bear when he puts on Cubbie blue? Not saying he should blow up all the time, but Lou's never done this in his entire career. Why? Older and mellower?
