  1. This will be Flus’s masterpiece
  2. Definitely not the worst QB lol but the 52% completion percentage 158 passing yards, 68 QB rating aren’t doing a great job of convincing me to he should be the guy as nice as his running is
  3. DJ Moore was wide open on that one too and on the same side of the field as where he threw it. Damn
  4. I know we can see this on the all 22s every week but I’m at the game and watching Moore on every play and wow does he get open deep a lot.
  5. I don't want to look for a type. Lets interview all different types of candidates and consider all options. The last time the Bears hired an established big-time coach it was a disaster (John Fox)
  6. I wasn't sure but I read your post meaning you wouldn't want to hire Tomlin regardless of whether it costs draft picks or not
  7. I can understand not wanting to trade draft picks but outright saying no to a coach who has coached for 17 years and has never had a losing season and made the playoffs 10 times seems odd for a team that has 11 losing seasons over the last 17 years. Not sure if he’d be my top choice and not sure I’m willing to give up draft picks for him but I wouldn’t hate him being our coach at all
  8. Hawks had a 5-2 lead with 12 mins left in the game. They lost 7-5. I know winning this year was never a reasonable ask given the team we put out there but last years team after 33 games had 20 points, this year 21 points.
  9. To quote Andrew Friedman back in 2016: "If you're always rational about every free agent, you will finish third on every free agent."
  10. This team is so strange. Was Zach really holding this team back that badly? I can’t believe I’m saying this but Pat Williams is starting to look like a real player. Like I used to think that he really just didn’t have much of a role on the floor. He was just kind of there and he could get some stats due to his minutes but he wasn’t making an impact. It’s starting to feel like he is making an impact now to some degree. I wonder if advanced stats agree with that assessment.
  11. Yeah just ask the…Dream Team
  12. Damn we didn’t get him?
  13. Wait, are the hot dog buns smaller than they used to be? Really trying to save money wherever they can 😂
  14. People were trying to fit him into possible Cubs-Guardians trade. Thus saying we can get a better reliever for less money
  15. Yeah in retrospect the worst thing about that PK was the actual kick which would be terrible regardless of the run up to the ball.
  16. Some of you have probably seen way more PKs than I have. Have you ever seen one taken like this before? 😂 For context, making the PK would have sent Everton to the semifinals of the Carabao Cup, and they eventually lost the PKs.
  17. I’ve seen about 4-5 Bears twitter guys comment on how bad the Bears offensive game film is from yesterday. Doesn’t surprise me at all, just funny how many people went out of their way to comment on how awful it is.
  18. I'd prefer to go QB and start over, but I just like Fields and while I don't think he's the guy, there's a part of me that continues to want to believe. I think he has improved this year, enough to be an average starting QB. But I also think his ceiling is not much higher than that as there are fatal flaws that at this point can't be fixed and a number of risks to committing big money long term for him given his style of play. Put it this way, if we weren't in a position where we were gifted a top 2 pick and only had our own pick, I wouldn't be calling to replace Fields by all means necessary. I am not an expert football film watcher so I couldn't tell you whether I loved Caleb or Maye but if Caleb really is a clone of Fields skillset, I don't see the harm in resetting the rookie QB contract, putting the right staff and system in place and seeing if we can unlock a higher ceiling with him. From what I've read, his skills are good enough that I don't think he'd be a Zach Wilson type flop. Maybe he ends up a little worse than Fields, maybe he ends up better than Fields. We don't know, but I'm convinced that what we are risking is giving up on a league average QB that is about to get much more expensive.
  19. I was gonna take my kids to this game since ticket prices are so cheap on the secondary market but probably wouldn't get home until after 8 on XMas Eve if I go. Ridiculous time for a game between 2 crappy teams
  20. As I told someone yesterday, this is where the 'ownership is the reason this franchise has sucked for 30 years' comes into play. I don't trust them to make the right decision, I see them as highlighting the growth of the team and not wanting to replace head coaches every 2 years or some crap. That said, if Warren really has the keys to the kingdom maybe he uses his authority to force a change...not sure he'd override Poles though if he decided he wanted to keep Eberflus,
  21. I don’t know about that. The Bears as a franchise are absolutely elite at inexpicably blowing games. I can think of maybe a dozen games over the last 20 years that are on par with the 3 this year. Maybe more than a dozen. It doesn’t even phase me anymore because I’ve seen them blow so many games that no other team in the league loses.
  22. That would be interesting. I'm in a very tight contest and my opponent has the Browns D so I could use the 2 points taken away from him. I would think normally you couldn't overturn it because the game continues with the interception which sort of locks it in, but since the half ended, it doesnt affect the game to change the call to an incompletion
  23. If I had to guess, Belli’s preference would be to resign with Cubs and Boras is using Blue Jays to try to get the Cubs to cave, however Bellinger is willing to sign with Toronto if the Cubs don’t. So basically he’s going to sign with the Jays.
  24. How the Bears can still make the playoffs:
  25. That all out blitz on 3rd and 15 reminded me to much of the one against the Packers to blow the playoffs in 2013
