We’ve scored the fake runner in both innings but so far we’ve had 1 total hit in the 10th and 11th (Nicos) -
The main thing I've noticed with the Cubs approach lately is WAY too many HR swings. I can't remember the last time I've seen a team have so many sell out for HR swings. Literally almost every player. Morel, Belli, Swanson, Hoerner, Seiya. Pretty sure I saw Madrigal take one yesterday. What happened to the approach that got the Cubs to this point?

Cant believe Drew "I give up a ton of HRs in my first inning of work" Smyly is going to try to close a 1 run lead in a gigantic game. I'd almost rather throw Wicks and have a pen game tomorrow. Need this win too much. (no i wouldnt really do that)

So we’re gonna get Mastrobuoni leading off with his 2nd PA in 3 weeks. Was Madrigal hurt? Edit: ok so the guy that strikes out 40% of the time is going to hit instead. I’d honestly rather have Mastrobuoni in this situation

So we scored on a walk, HBP, single and error. Not sure I can watch Stro vs the top of the diamondbacks order.

I said this a couple weeks ago I’ve never seen a team get out at home in those situations as much as the Cubs. I understand it’s go on contact and I agree with it but it seems to always burn us

Wow 3 JJ McCarthy INTs, 2 inside the 10 yard line. He had 3 INTs all of last year in the regular season. I guess the rule that I am never allowed to experience rooting for a great QB is still in place
