    I like this matchup today. Marquis sucks, and I hate him, but even I have to admit he can have stretches when he pitches well. He is on one of them right now. Contreras on the other hand is trending downwards, starting off the season amazing and fading a bit to his 2006 and 2007 numbers. I predict Cubs win 6-4

    Tonight was a really positive night down on the farm. Marhsall, Samardzjia, Rhee pitching well. Colvin getting 2 hits, Vitters with an RBI single.

    True. Why was I smart enough to insert Johnson in the leadoff spot vs. a lefty, but then completely forgot when it came to selecting a LF. You're right Murton over Hoff

    Thank God we are back to NL lineups. I think I read Reed might be ok to go today, and thats good because Danks is a tough lefty. My lineup prediction Johnson, CF (Lou will move Fukudome down because hes a lefty) Theriot, SS Lee, 1B Ramirez, 3B Soto, C Fukudome, RF Hoffpauir, LF DeRosa, 2B Lilly, P Sox will probably go this way Douchebag, CF Douchebag, C Douchebag, 1B Douchebag, LF Douchebag, RF Douchebag, 3B Douchebag, 2B Douchebag, SS Douchebag, P

    Cubs are 29-8 at home. White Sox are 17-20 on the road. Marmol is pissed off Lou is pissed off Lilly is.....well Lilly. You are in trouble White Sox.

    I'm glad their insecurities are so evident. Has a Cubs player ever said anything bad about the White Sox? I honestly can't remember.

    I guarantee you we won't get swept...but we could easily lose the series.

    Well guys, the first 3 game losing streak, with the last game being a spectacular collapse started by our stud set up guy. If there is a time to find out how this team handles a bit of adversity, it is now. I am going to the game tomorrow. Should be interesting.

    We're 6-6 in our last 12 games. Not horrible but geez, it could be better.

    Good performance for Eyre, 0.1 IP 2 ER, 4 H, 4 XBH, 3 inherited runners score, 1 hard hit sac fly that could have easily been a double.

    So in this series, we lost both our CFs, our starting pitcher, lost all 3 games, lost some of our unshakable confidence in our setup guy, didn't get to use our closer, and now get to fly home and land about 12 hours before our next game with our arch rivals.
