    I think pitchers are attacking the hitters much more frequently lately instead of nibbling. A lot of the Cubs success was due to getting into hitters counts and pounding the ball. If they are taking strike one and strike two its messing everything up.

    No...Lou said on pregame he is now playing best lineup to win that day. Not sure how that should be any different than usual, but I'll take it to mean the traditional platoons may be over. It just doesn't make sense to me to keep a guy who got on base 3 times last night and scored a run out of a slumping lineup trying to get back on track... IF hits Who cares? At least he got on base unlike most other Cobs Yup, he is the master of strategically placing hits on the infield so his slow ass can make it to first in time

    I wouldn't call it choking as much as I would call it "playing how they were expected to"

    Michigan scored a touchdown!!! Seriously, between Michigan and the Bears, I am going to see as much scoring as I would for one team this year.

    A loss to USC and a loss to Ohio would pretty much guarantee they won't sneak into the Championship game this year. Go Ohio. True, but again, I'd love to see them lose in the title game again.

    I hate Ohio State with every bone in my body, but I kinda want them to win this week to make next week's showdown (read: BEATDOWN) by USC that much more enjoyable

    Why do people still say that Theriot tired down the stretch? He just had a horrible month, kind of like the other 3 terrible months he had that season. I didn't say he got tired, I just said he sucked in September.
