    Yet he's pretty good lifetime vs. CC I know this lineup should be able to touch him up pretty well. Hopefully whatever his mental block is, it goes away in the next two days. The mental block is probably apathy

    I know the Cubs have done well swinging early in the count vs. Sabathia, but with him going on 3 days rest for the third straight start, it might be wise to take a few pitches. I'm not a manager though.

    I have a feeling that Sabathia is going to dominate us today. I don't know why, we've hit him well, but we'll see. Wow Soriano is in a bad slump

    Classless comments? I don't remember the situation clearly, but I thought Grace wanted to resign with the Cubs, but the Cubs didn't want to sign him. His comments after the World Series were something like: "I wasn't good enough to play 1B for the Chicago Cubs, but I'm good enough to play for the world champions" I agree the timing wasn't right to take a shot at the Cubs org (he was literally still on the field celebrating the World Series), but I don't think they were classless.

    I would love for Guz to get through the first 2 innings with like 10 pitches so they keep him in, he goes 5 and gets the W. There is nothing I want more than a Cubs WS title, but a Guzman win is somewhere up there.

    Really? You do know he is scheduled to pitch in Game 2, in 4 days, right? But as of this afternoon, he was named the starter tomorrow. Yea, Bruce said the plan was for him to pitch an inning or two, which would make sense But as long as he's not hurt, who cares I guess I didn't know he was going to pitch a couple innings. But I think that would have been a stupid idea since he was named game 2 starter already. Had he been going in game 3, that would be different. I know...like I said, its the same thing that they did with Lilly last year. He started the Sunday game, threw 2 innings, and then pitched 4 days later in game 2

    If the White Sox lose tonight, it guarantees that either the Twins win the division, or the Sox have to play that make up game Monday. The Twins cannot be eliminated tomorrow.

    Because the defense and bullpen have been awful all week. And a lot of the time, its people who actually are trying to do good and make the postseason roster.
