I completely agree with the OP. Baseball is an everyday thing, a constant for 6 months. No matter what is going on in my life from April to September, there is always a Cubs game. Theres nothing like having a bad day and work and knowing that the Cubs are going to play the Reds tonight. Even if the Cubs are bad, baseball is by far my favorite sport, and I am watching and following every day. October is such a void for sports. Sure on the weekend you have college football and nfl, but during the week I miss that void. The Bulls do a good job of replacing that void for the most part starting in November, but its definitely not the same.
