  1. Your liquor cabinet is spared :)
  2. If they do, then Penn State will never beat Michigan. If Michigan didn't have maize and blue and winged helmets and were named Florida International, it would be 24-0 Penn State right now
  3. I don't understand why RichRod can't teach these guys the spread and work it in gradually to give this team a chance to win this year. Yes, trial by fire probably works quicker, but if I were a UM fan (shudder), I don't know if I'd consider it worth it to go through things like a home loss to Toledo. I partially agree. I mean the personnel isnt even there for the spread. Threet won't be the spread qb of the future. I waver on this. All this is doing for RRod is getting Michigan fans and alumni pissed at him, and its probably not a good idea to start off on a bad foot with those guys.
  4. I'm glad Michigan is punting this year to learn the spread, but I think they would be a halfway decent team this year with a traditional offense.
  5. You think Michigan could beat them?
  6. Being up 10-0 on the number 3 team in the country on the road will be the peak of my 2008 Michigan season though :)
  7. Told ya..... Michigan goes on a long drive that takes 7 minutes, and is aided by several third down conversions, and all the sudden Penn State comes back (after a TO) and scores on 2 plays. Michigan is screwed.
  8. I know you don't believe me, but Penn State will still win this by more than 2 touchdowns. Penn State's offense has big play ability, and as soon as they break a long one, Michigan's confidence and momentum will go to crap and they will start making mistakes.
  9. Michigan should have went for it there. You're probably going to lose anyways, might at well put more pressure on them by going up 14-0
  10. I will admit though, having Brandon Minor healthy helps Michigan's offense.
  11. When you break off a long TD run on the second play from scrimmage coming up, you will not be worried anymore. Penn States offense is too good. If Michigan loses by less than 17, I'll consider it a victory. michigan's defense really isn't bad though. i don't know how the hell that just happened; michigan's offense sucks. but somehow i knew that they'd play their best game of the year today, they usually do. Illinois offense torched Michigan's D, Penn State should have no problem scoring points. Yeah people keep talking about Michigan's D being good. But honestly, its mediocre or maybe slightly below average. It's just that their offense is so bad, the D looks solid in comparison. Michigan took a 14-3 lead (right?) on Illinois too and we know how that turned out. I wouldn't start to even conceive a Michigan win unless they took a 20+ point lead.

  13. 24 with 14 of them being broadcast Nationally. http://www.nba.com/bulls/schedule/

  15. Once again, the Chicago Cubs suck.
  16. I could get both in, but it would come at the expense of Clinton Portis.
  17. I think you got it right. Peterson is a must start no matter the matchup, even though its gonna be a bad one. Peterson, Brown, Moore, Colston, Smith is probably the best lineup. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Banged up Eli vs. SF or Derek Anderson @ Washington? Also... Jacobs vs. SF or Chris Johnson @ KC? And finally probably the toughest one... Ronnie Brown vs. Baltimore or Marshawn Lynch vs. SD?
  18. Yeah, I have no idea why his road numbers fluctuate like that. I definitely don't think he's a product of Petco, as he has proven over full seasons he can dominate on the road, but last year's numbers stand out. I think the Braves seem like a great fit.
  19. With the amount of money we are paying our DLine, its amazing how ineffective we've been.

  21. Hopefully Vasher can pretend like its 2005 because thats the last time he's been any sort of useful.
  22. I'm sure next year's world series will be Nationals/Rangers, because I've already figured out that this decade was intended to screw over the Cubs. So far in this decade: -Cubs blow 6.5 game lead in July to miss the playoffs -Cubs win their first playoff series since 1908 but blow a 3-1 lead in the NLCS -Cubs get best team in many years, but they are all whiny babies and collapse and miss the playoffs -White Sox win World Series -Cardinals win World Series -Cubs win back to back division crowns but fair to win a playoff game either year. -The second of those titles is the best Cubs season in 63 years, and team self implodes in playofs
  23. What next? Soriano with a postseason RBI?? OK I know I'm being crazy.
  24. ESPN picked it up. Looks like its very possible Peavy is going somewhere... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3647795
