Losing Urlacher is absolutely devistating to the Bears IMO. He might not be the team's best or most important player, but I think MLB is the most important position in the Cover 2, needing a superior size and speed person to be able to do everything the scheme requires. I just can't see anyone on the Bears roster replacing him even adequately, or anyone the Bears could sign being able to pick up the scheme and be able to run it even half as well as Urlacher. Unless Cutler shows us a completely different QB than he showed us last night and we can win several shootouts, I'm thinking this might be a lost season. Just one man's opinion, and I know you all know me as a pessimist, but that's just what I'm thinking when I read that. I'd love to be wrong.
