  1. Dammit that was close...I wish the push out rule was there...it might not have happened this time though
  2. Collinsworth is a fool, last year's game was dominated by the Falcons, the Bears just happened to hang in there until the end.
  3. A SACK! Woo!!! Cutler took a sack!!!
  4. Man for a second I thought Hester's jersey looked red and he threw it right to a Falcons player again. I think I'm delusional.
  5. God our special teams is good. It's amazing how many missed opportunities we've had in this game. This game could easily be 17-0 or at least 10-0 but it's 7-7.
  6. Gotta get the momentum back.
  7. overreaction of the night That's his shtick
  8. Wow, Atlanta looked so flat, I was starting to think they'd never get it going today but Cutler let them right back in the game.
  9. I think the momentum has shifted significantly.
  10. No he's not, he will never be a "great" qb until he can not have games like this. He's still very good tho.
  11. that was so far off target I wonder if a wrong route was run. That said, Cutler's gotta be able to hold off on the throw and look at where the ball is gonna go. It couldn't have been a better pass for that ATL player to catch.
  12. I don't know what the hell that was. Boy casual fans who only watched Cutler on SNF must think he really sucks....
  13. A lot of things to love about the game so far. D-Line O-Line (at least pass protection) Special teams Cutler, mostly The playcalling has been above average on both sides of the ball as well. Don't like: O-Line (run blocking) That's about it right now.
  14. I think my rule on that exact play (ball inside the opponent's own 30 yard line, ball sitting there with nothing but green grass to the end zone), if you are losing or tied, try to pick it up, if you are winning, fall on it.
  15. Dammit, I know it's 6 points if you field it cleanly but worst case you have the ball at the 20 yard line. Dammit almost picked off. Watch now they'll complete the 3rd and long...
  16. As I said, I applaud when it works out and boo when it fails.
  17. I do believe this is the first time we've scored first in a game all year.
  18. Because both Atlanta and Chicago finished 2nd in their divisions last year. This year the Bears play the 2nd place NFC East team at home and the 2nd play NFC South team on the road, while playing the entire NFC West and AFC North.
  19. Back in FG range...lets at least get some points on the board for the Bears here.
  20. Random question...wasn't Brandon Rideau a big WR?
  21. Glad they missed 2 blocks in the back on that return.
  22. Matt Ryan is rather inaccurate so far.
  23. My point about the interception is, it's not the end of the world to take a sack when your in FG range, especially on third down. I will admit Cutler has made some great plays while running from a sack, but he's also had most of his INTs occur because of his determination to not get sacked. If Cutler takes some sacks, we're playing for a FG on the last drive of the GB game instead of a TD, we don't sweat it out the final seconds against Seattle, and we give Atlanta a quick punch in the gut in this game.
