The Olympics do have a way of making some new favorite players for me: Bobby Ryan, Parise and Miller, to start. I'm used to saying 4-on-4 favors our guys (the Hawks), but today, not so much. Yeah seriously, my mind automatically went to "ok it's OT we have the edge" I was pretty upset before the Olympics thinking about 2 weeks with no Hawks, but right now I'm wondering how the hell I can get up for a Blackhawks game in just 2 days after this. Imagine how our guys on the ice must feel.

The next time the Hawks play the Devils, if any of our guys lay a hard hit on Parise, I will be mad at them. Unless it's Toews, Keith or Seabrook.

I wonder what being on the positive end of this feels like. Hmm...having your favorite team win the premier championship of your favorite sport on your home turf over your arch rivals. Just imagine the Cub- ummm nevermind.

From the short glimpses I've seen of him he's added absolutely nothing to his game since Georgetown. Then you are missing a lot because quite frankly he has been pretty impressive at times. Yeah, I think Hibbert has exceeded my expectations in the NBA. He wasn't a well regarded prospect at all. The fact that he found a prominent role on an NBA team shows he's better than advertised.

Whatever, it's in their home country and they spent a crapload of money preparing their athletes for these games. Why wouldn't they deserve what they've achieved?

I mentioned this on RealGM, but the Bulls last 8 losses have been to Indiana, Washington, Orlando, Atlanta, Philadelphia, LA Clippers, LA Clippers, Golden State. That's 6 losing teams and 2 winning ones. Blah.

How many times have we seen lately Rose drive into the lane and into contact and then not hear a whistle blown until after the shot misses? I mean that's just obvious.

Like it or not people like Pargo and Johnson are going to get too many minutes tonight as a result of our back to back games, and the fact that Noah is out tonight. I don't blame them being out on him. Maybe give Devin Brown another shot instead of Pargo though. Pargo is either on fire or (85% of the time) horrible off shooting. If he's not shooting lights out theres no point in him being out there. Flip Murray? About 10 times better than Pargo. Right...he's your third guard. Pargo's your 4th guard. On the 2nd of back to backs, sometimes you're stuck giving your 4th guard tons of minutes. It sucks but we have a thin team, we have to live through it.

They don't look great tonight. Which is really excusable after going to OT last night. Every team is allowed to have an off game occasionally. And we've beaten Indy 3 times this year already. Still, after tonight is 4 straight home games against +500 teams so it would be nice to come back and win.

Selfish a-hole Wasn't exactly what I was saying. But he needs to learn to make that extra pass sometimes, it seems. EDIT: Like there, 2 on 1 and miller was trailing wide open and deng tried to make the play himself. No I was serious. He's being a selfish a-hole. I've been picking on him for this all season. He has tunnel vision when he's going to the hole and it pisses me off. I've seen teammates throw their hands up in disgust as Deng dribbles into the lane facing an open shooting and blatantly ignores them to try to score over 3 defenders with their hands in his face.

Was that expected? Well, it's not like they haven't won bobsled before. They did it in 1948. I was just interest to see if this was an upset or the USA was at some level of contention. USA and bobsled contention don't seem like they go together.

Try this: AL East AL Central AL West NL East NL Central NL West Yankees Red Sox Angels Braves Cubs Dodgers Tigers White Sox Rangers Phillies Cardinals Giants Rays Twins Mariners Mets Brewers Diamondbacks Orioles Indians Athletics Marlins Reds Rockies Blue Jays Royals Astros Nationals Pirates Padres Basically he suggests switching the Tigers and Red Sox, and then evening out the AL West and NL Central with the other divisions by moving the Astros to the AL West. It's not a bad plan, but it would depend on whether Houston would be ok with going to the AL. I also think instead it might be a good idea to move the Brewers back to the AL Central, and the Royals to the AL West. I've read before that the Brewers wouldn't be opposed to going back to the AL. Although I think they like our rivalry with the Cubs.
