  1. FINALLY 2 points at home! Normally that takes 3-4 games to collect 2 points. Please be the start of a turnaround. I enjoy this team too much.
  2. Another of the many problems the Blackhawks have is they seem to always take inopportune penalties late in a game with point(s) on the line. Last night a trip in OT (on a sketchy call), and tonight Kop gets called for boarding with 50 seconds left in a tie game.
  3. Bill Simmons called it when he said exciting games just seem to find their way to the game Gus Johnson is calling.
  4. This should give you what you need: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/min/2010.htm As for what you're looking for, this is only the 5th time in the last 5 seasons that the Vikings have given up 130+ rushing yards in a game. Fairly impressive for our rag tag bunch to do so.
  5. They gave up 155 to the Jets in Week 4. They gave up 122 to the Pats a few weeks ago, but not quite 130. Where did you find those stats? Umm...ESPN.com's box score of the games
  6. They gave up 155 to the Jets in Week 4. They gave up 122 to the Pats a few weeks ago, but not quite 130.
  7. If only we had beaten the Giants as one of our 6 wins, we'd be in a bye right now. And we all know that when the Bears bother to show up for the playoffs, they don't do wild card weekend. It's been 16 years since we've lowered ourselves to participate in one of those.
  8. Yeah and Tyler Thigpen has a better chance than probably any 3rd string QB would. If any other teams 3rd QB was in there, there would be almost 0 chance of a victory. But the Dolphins have a pretty good QB for 3rd string standards, and thus still have a chance to beat us. I was gonna talk about all the teams Thigpen beat when he was starting for the Chiefs and averaged 186 passing yards a game, and had an 18-12 TD-INT ratio, not to mention averaged 6.2 YPC and 3 rushing TDs, but I forgot that Chiefs team was beyond miserable. Despite that miserable team he did manage to lead the offense to 20 PPG in his 11 starts. You are arguing that I am saying that we're in trouble that we have to face Thigpen, when all I am arguing is that despite the Dolphins being on their 3rd string QB, that QB is capable of beating us if we aren't playing well. Meaning he's not going to go 5-16 with 4 INTs or whatever Todd Collins did. My guess is we do play well and beat him. I have read and considered what you have posted. I shall now respond: http://media.funlol.com/content/img/bear-dick-punch.jpg POINT: ME. Now that is how you win an argument. Well played, sir.
  9. lol one of the bloggers on the Daily Norseman is calling the Bears the best team in the NFC North and endorsing the Bears to win the division title.

  11. Yeah I'm thinking the McDonalds parking lot would be good. Actually an awesome thing would be to be on a rooftop, but then I guess the crowd cant really be in the background. Another possible spot would be the players parking lot where the triangle building is supposed to go. They could also do it across the street from Murphy's in that parking lot, near the bleacher entrance. Either way I'm really excited. I'm thinking about picking up a couple of $25 SRO tickets and be around for all the festivities.
  12. The lesson here is don't give up 2 late TDs when the game is already in hand, and don't destroy teams that Notre Dame can also beat.
  13. The point is he's not completely useless. He's good enough to beat us if we aren't at our best. He's like Doug Flutie. Elusive white guy that can move the ball through the air and get some decent yardage on the ground if you don't watch him closely. He obviously isn't like a starter quality QB but he's probably better than half the teams backup QBs and can lead them to wins. Good Lord, I know you're always desperate to make posts about every single way your teams can lose, but come on. I didn't say he would beat us. I said he could. I'm not desperate to do anything but have a discussion about next weeks football game.

  15. Dammit why couldnt they have like Todd Collins as their 3rd QB? Every other team pretty much has garbage as their 3rd QB, but Miami happens to have a guy that could beat us.
  16. This was a good win. We might even move ahead of the Lions and Rams in some people's power rankings.
  17. Other than Penalties, the INT inside the 10 yard line and the missed FG I really can't complain about a lot today. We played a fantastic game and it really gave me some confidence for the rest of the season. I don't see why we can't beat Miami to go 7-3
  18. We might be facing the Dolphins' third string QB, so who knows, we might actually have a chance. Tyler Thigpen is not a bad choice as a 3rd string QB.
  19. lol Lions drive down the field and score a TD to make it 14-12 with 14 seconds left. Then they cant get the tying 2 point conversion. Poor Lions. Bills will have a W unless a miracle happens.
  20. I hope Favre throws 6 picks but the Vikings win 40-0
  21. You guys ready for more football in 4 days? Lets take this momentum to Miami
  22. I loooove to see the victory formation!
  23. Wow @ Jacksonville. What a chokejob on the season Houston.
  24. If we're lucky at 3-6 he retires and its his last ever pass.
  25. Game. Set. Match. 3-6 Favre how does that feel?!?!?
