  1. Cup hangover. Is there any other explanation for several of the top players from last year's team completely underperforming to start the year? I guess it could still be a slow start, and an adjustment period with all the new players, but even so the level of play right now is pathetic.
  2. Way too many. Don't forget we played there in 2007 too. I remember the NFL giving the BS answer of 'well that's just how it falls with our strength of schedule formula." It doesn't happen that many times in a row by coincidence. Well considering the format for schedule making was set years in advance, I don't see how anyone could possibly claim a conspiracy. The Bears just played 3 years in a row against the Saints at Soldier field (2006, 2007, 2008) and won all 3. Coincidence? The opponents are choose years in advance, but I don't think the location is set in stone. I could be wrong tho. I'm almost positive they've always had a formula for home/road teams. It's just pure coincidence that it happened that way.

  4. Every week it seems Jerry Jones gives Phillips a vote of confidence that he's not going to make a HC change during the season, and every week the Cowboys keep getting worse and worse. What a trainwreck. The thing is, Dallas still has a good amount of talent. They've obviously completely given up, which says a lot about the coaching and makeup of the team. So what if you are playing for pride, you have half the season left and getting paid to give a damn and play harder than they've been playing.
  5. They got to see some fights and hear Chelsea Dagger play. Why would they boo?
  6. So...2 regulation losses at home in the span of 10 days to the team that finished last in the conference last year and appears to be just as bad this year. The Hawks are 1-4-0 in their last 5 home games. They lost 8 games all year at home last year. What a mess.
  7. I'll just laugh
  8. To the AFC... If Pittsburgh wins tomorrow... 1. Baltimore Ravens 6-2 (over Steelers due to 1-0 H2H record, over Jets due to 1-0 H2H record) 2. New York Jets 6-2 (over Patriots due to 1-0 H2H record) 3. Kansas City Chiefs 5-3 (over Titans due to 4-3 conference record) 4. Tennessee Titans 5-3 (over Colts due to 1-0 div record vs. 1-2) 5. Pittsburgh Steelers 6-2 (over Patriots due to 3-1 conference record) 6. New England Patriots 6-2 Ravens, Jets - Bye New England Patriots @ Kansas City Chiefs Pittsburgh Steelers @ Tennessee Titans If Pittsburgh loses tomorrow... 1. Baltimore Ravens 6-2 (over Jets due to 1-0 H2H record) 2. New York Jets 6-2 (over Patriots due to 1-0 H2H record) 3. Kansas City Chiefs 5-3 (over Titans due to 4-3 conference record) 4. Pittsburgh Steelers 5-3 (over Colts due to 23-17 strength of victory record) Ravens, Jets - Bye Pittsburgh Steelers @ Kansas City Chiefs New England Patriots @ Tennessee Titans
  9. Just for fun...if the season ended today...NFC Edition: Currently/if Dallas beats GB 1. New York Giants 6-2 (ahead of ATL due to 5-0 conf record) 2. Atlanta Falcons 6-2 3. Chicago Bears 5-3 (ahead of GB due to 1-0 H2H record) 4. St. Louis Rams 4-4 (ahead of SEA due to 1-0 H2H record) 5. New Orleans Saints 6-3 6. Philadelphia Eagles 5-3 (over GB and TB due to 19-21 strength of victory record) If GB beats Dallas 1. New York Giants 6-2 2. Atlanta Falcons 6-2 3. Green Bay Packers 6-3 4. St. Louis Rams 4-4 5. New Orleans 6-3 6. Philadelphia Eagles 5-3 (over CHI due to 3-2 conferece record, over TB due to 19-21 strength of victory record) So.... Giants, Falcons - Bye Philadelphia Eagles @ Chicago Bears/Green Bay Packers New Orleans Saints @ St. Louis Rams AFC coming up
  10. I knew he had a boot but damn
  11. He was also in net last week when they played in Chicago and the oilers killed us. But yes it's always nice to see an old friend.
  12. Two straight challenges taking away 6 fantasy points from me. I'm sure the next one will be a handoff to McCoy for a score.
  13. Same. Qb rating can be misleading. The biggest reason the bills were in the game is because the bears consistently allows them to convert third downs, a majority of which were 3rd and longs.
  14. Lol at the dejected packers fan in the crowd.
  15. And the Bears can't clinch the game by gaining 1 yard on the ground against the 29th best run d. That 1 yard might change the course of our season.
  16. It's funny that if we win this this deciding factor will be a blocked XP. Without that the score is 21-21.
  17. omg I thought that was a late hit, I was ready to drive to Toronto and kill whoever hit him late. but it was holding. Thank you!
  18. They challenged that? That was worse than a Lovie Smith challenge
  19. We would have given up another one too if Fitzpatrick threw it slightly better. I think the biggest thing is we just cant get any pressure on these guys almost all game. It's been a miserable game for the pass rush.
  20. The Bills should just take knees on 1st and 2nd down and then convert on 3rd.
  21. Make that 7 consecutive 3rd down conversions for the Bills and 10 of 14 overall.
  22. This looked to be the biggest play of the game to this point. Doesn't look like there is going to be much time for a response if Buffalo scores a TD here.
  23. 9 of 13 on 3rd down conversions for the Bills and 6 in a row overall.
  24. I'm starting to think that no matter how this game ends we can beat Minnesota next week. They look like they've completely given up.
