I'm sure I'm talking about of my ass, but: better overall record, 9-3 in last 12 games, and head to head win on neutral floor vs. win against UNC, h2h win, better RPI and SOS is that the argument? Last 12 is meaningless. Almost as meaningless as overall record. For the record, I think Illinois has the better resume. I'm just listing the variables out there, not necessarily what the committee looks at. However, I could swear the committe looks at how you've played over your last X number of games and that plays a factor. Am I wrong? I'm sorry Michigan doesn't get into the tourney enough to know in detail how the process works. I'm about 99% sure that both Illinois and Michigan are in.
