    The height Rose got in this pic is absolutely ridiculous. It's "only" like 32 inches given the leg bend.Yeah, got to love the little guy jumping several feet off the ground there. Also, do Pacer fans really hate Noah after today? It was interesting to see Deng get pissed and for him to call on the crowd, especially since it worked. Worked how? Immediately after the T, the Pacers extended their lead to 10 points. What worked was Derrick Rose, not a moronic technical foul. I believe he meant that the crowd got fired up after he got the T and started calling for the crowd to get loud.

    Deng must not like someone on the Pacers or something. I don't think we've ever seen that kind of emotion out of him. Yeah, I mentioned when it happened that I've never seen that type of emotion from Deng in 6+ years with us. Also echoing the 'Carlos Boozer is a bitch' sentiment. I miss early season Boozer. When he sat on the bench in a suit?

    Ben Smith is the best Hawk on the ice. Not sure if thats good....probably not.

    Typical. We're not that good but injuries haven't helped us. And its 4-2. I think we get swept.

    As bad of a player Pisani is, I love watching him on the ice because he's so fast. He just flies around.

    WTF is Frolik doing? Put it on net or around the boards, don't pass it directly behind you to someone who has an equally bad angle to the goal.

    We scored? I've been meaning to say that I've liked that I've seen from Ben Smith. 105 minute scoreless streak snapped.

    The Hawks look like a team that half assed it most of the year, and now feel satisfied that they avoided the embarrassment of not making the playoffs a year after winning the Cup. BTW, we've just crossed 100 minutes since the last Hawks goal, dating back to the regular season.

    I was just thinking that! What the [expletive] is up with them. In the last 3-4 minutes I've seen them get outhustled to stop an icing, and lollygagged two different times towards pucks on the boards, which Vancouver got to and won easily. If they arent giving max effort in the playoffs, yeah theres something seriously wrong with this team. I spent the summer warning of a bad cup hangover, I never imagined it might be this bad.

    The funny thing about the scoring droughts is the Hawks don't have a bad offense overall. They finished 4th in the NHL in goals scored and were only 4 goals behind the most in the NHL.

    Yeah sorry Lo but this team is just vastly more talented and deeper than us. Depth is a big reason why because not having any threatening scoring options outside the top guys, it becomes that much easier to shut them down. Vancouver is just a lot better than us this year. Was hoping for a series but I'd take 6 games at this point

    Yup, we've had several long goalless streaks. We are working on 86 minutes without a goal right now. Shut down the stars and you shut down the Hawks

    Vancouver still controlling play and getting the better chances, but I wouldnt say they are dominating. The Hawks have not really had any good chances so far. Lots of missed passes, people in the wrong place, etc. on offense.

    Why does it feel like this team is 15 games under .500?

    We cannot get absolutely anything going on the offensive end and I think every Hawk has been checked hard into the boards twice each already.

    The period is looking more like the 1st period of game 1 than the last 2 periods

    Horrible PP, followed by a Canucks goal. Hawks already down 1-0

    Canucks trying to beat the [expletive] out of us again. Toews had a breakaway and was hooked from behind, but no call. TBH it was borderline though.

    Meh....you could do that. Or you can buy a half a bleacher ticket to a platinum game.

    It'll be fine eventually. Dempster and Garza aren't likely to pitch this bad all year. Doesn't seem like Wells will be out super long. Cashner if healthy should be decent too. A 13 game sample that isn't encouraging isnt the end of the world either.
