  1. Because meatball Michigan fans said Lloyd Carr's offense was old fashioned and not explosive enough, so Michigan hired a coach to run the spread. And after 3 years of that, the fans now demanded to go back to a normal offense like Michigan has been known for. I bet the fans calling for Carr's head after the App State game didn't realize how much worse it could get. Oh well, at least UM's uniforms are still badass.
  2. Can anyone catch the [expletive] ball? The offense looks so unbelievably sloppy. Denard Robinson, 3-13, 1 TD, 1 INT Non-Denard Robinson running game: 4 carries, 6 yards. 5 first downs all game and 147 total yards.
  3. Woody, Bo, "Joe Pa"
  4. If Michigan loses this game, it will make it really hard to get ranked this year. Despite the 3 straight poor seasons, Michigan has been ranked at least one week in quite a few consecutive seasons.
  5. Dunno but that was awesome. At least Rich Rod gave us a good offense..they cant seem to do anything save an occasional Robinson burst.
  6. Apparently, Denard Robinson can not throw the ball accurately out of the pocket. Everything is underthrown or overthrown. Too many wide open WRs missed already.
  7. This is one of those games where you wonder if the defense is going to stop them at all in the game.
  8. Damn, Michigan looks awful so far.
  9. Well that was easy. 2nd straight week Michigan gives up a TD on the opening drive.
  10. Considering Kerry's seemingly undying loyalty to the Cubs and the fact that coming back would cost us maybe another 1.5m, I don't see the hurt. We don't have to make him the 7th inning guy or whatever. As recently as last September he was a dominant 8th inning guy for a World Series contender, so its worth 1.5m to see which one is the real Kerry Wood at this point.
  11. But aren't they playing an SEC team?
  12. I can't see Ohio State go better than 8-4 this year unless their defense plans on carrying them.
  13. And Ohio State wins
  14. Some strange ass decisions on the last couple of plays. No need to go for the end zone on 1st and 2nd down. Then a run play on 3rd and 10
  15. Why are they going for it on 4th and 14 from midfield? Isn't there more than enough time to punt with 1:49 left and 2 TOs? Seems slightly more likely than making a 4th and 14 when they have been having trouble going dowfield all game Edit: Nevermind!
  16. Just imagine if Crane Kenney hadn't demanded that Quade hit Castro 3rd for much of the year.
  17. I remember how much [expletive] Michigan got for losing in the Big House to Toledo in 08, so I really hope somehow Toledo can come back here and win.
  18. Where is our old friend Vanilla Ice to give us his thoughts on this game?
  19. Good, it was insane how much they were jacking up the price of bleacher seats. Over $80 for prime games I believe. And this for the type of seats that more teams offer among their cheapest tickets. The atmosphere the bleachers provide makes it understandable that they are priced more than most seats at Wrigley, but when you see those seats for $80, it makes you realize that you are paying that much for a mediocre seat. The atmosphere is rather frat boyish, but I don't mind that even though I don't fit that mold. What I do mind is having to get to the game at least an hour early to get a good seat, and the fact that there are much closer seats available for a cheaper prices in the grandstand.
  20. You mean other than the Grizzlies winning their first ever playoff game and series and coming 1 win from the WCF. Also the Preds won their first ever playoff series and played Detroit tough in the 2nd round. Finally, Bruce Pearl got fired. So no Bill, Tennessee has had enough good sports news over the last 4 frickin months. By pick apart, do you mean, support his argument? No. OK the Bruce Pearl thing was a joke. I'm guessing the people of Tennessee probably wanted him to stay there. Then you can add in Memphis going to the National title game 3-4 years ago instead of the Bruce Pearl thing. Plenty of good news already flowin through Tennessee. Certainly not overdue for some. He's probably specifically referring to the Pat Summitt thing. And the Bruce Pearl thing, while deserved, isn't necessarily good news for the state of Tennessee. Damn you are probably right about the Summitt thing. I am trying too hard to rip on him I guess. I just get this impression that he thinks he's a genius with these ideas he comes up with and more often than not you can catch him contradicting himself or flatout ignoring something that disproves what he says. I went overboard this time though.
  21. The NFL and NFLPA is going all out and donating a million dollars. The average NFL franchise is worth a billion and they just signed a MNF contract worth like 2 billion a year. Nice of them to dig so deep. I think that's not a very justifiable complaint. It's not like this is the only thing they donate to. It's not like individual players and owners don't donate on their own, to this and other causes. I get it. Just pisses me off that stuff like this even has to "OK'd." Urlacher can't wear gloves in a nod to little Johnny from down the street who has cancer without being fined 5K. I don't see what the fuss is about. They wear uniforms. They collectively bargain how the league will be run, the NFL protects it's brand because it's worth billions of dollars and the players benefit significantly from how well the NFL has been run over the decades. They did ok it. So what's the big deal to be pissed off about? The thing to get pissed off about is that manufacturers like Reebok make this stuff for players to wear, surely knowing that they aren't allowed to wear it, and the resulting threaten of fines gives them free publicity when the media starts reporting that the NFL is going to fine players who wear 9/11 tribute gloves in games.
  22. This is all Crane Kenney's fault.
