This game is enough to make me think that we may, indeed, miss the playoffs. I still think we finish 10-6 and get in. I had this and next weeks game as a loss coming into today, with the next 2 being wins. I guess I didn't consider the level of panic and negativity that would surround the team if they went from 7-1 to 8-6 but I'll stick to my prediction. The Vikings are just nearly unbeatable at home....I never expect to win here unless snow caves in the roof.

Is it bad that I'm playing on the playoff machine trying to figure out scenarios that get the Bears into the playoffs at 8-8?

I'm gonna say that we need a new defensive line almost as much as we do a new offensive line.

As bad as the defense started the game, they've only allowed 7 legit points today, which is as many as the offense has allowed with the 2 turnovers that were pretty much both TDs.

The Bears offense seems to move the ball just fine but when the game is over there ends up being 13 points on the board. To many sacks, penalties and 1 yard runs killing drives

The good news is that the way the scores are looking right now, we might be able to get into the playoffs at 9-7. If they hold.. CHI 8-5 -------- MIN 7-6 TB 6-7 DAL 6-7 The 1 win would almost certainly have to be against GB or Detroit though, as the Vikings would be 3-2 in the division and the Bears 2-2. Unless the Vikings only go 1-2 in their last 3 games

Our Dline hasn't done much since we played the Texans. I feel our offense should be able to put more points on this team. Everyone was getting so excited about the DLine to start the year, until it was posted out that they were playing some of the statistically worse offensive lines in football. Whoops.

The Bears defensive line is getting absolutely abused. Gerhart is able to get a full head of steam before he's even touched.

we should just go for in on our side of the field. They keep pushing the field position the other way anyways...pinning them deep seems to be pointless

seriously i dont know how people would ever expect us to win a meaningful game in this dome. The only win in the lovie smith era was 2006 and that was only because tommie harris was awesome

As opposed to a bad legged kicker giving them position at the exact same spot by badly missing a FG? The announcers said he wasnt hitting FGs from longer than 25 yards out after he tried following his injury Jesus no. Maybe you take a chance at keeping the drive alive and perhaps scoring some points. ok thats fair. I was only thinking of it from a punt or fg attempt decision

Yeah, I'm flipping to red zone channel. this is competely unwatchable. The defense is completely undisciplined and out of position
