  1. I havent been watching....has their only been 1 penalty called all game, a puck over the glass by Toews?
  2. Ok, you're added to the rotation. Sweetpeteman, whenever you're ready... Yes get that game thread up or I will. I don't care if Lillibridge and Valbuena are in the starting lineup, I'm excited!
  3. I think I like it when my team jumps out to a 14 point lead minutes into an Elite 8 game.
  4. I was thinking he was talking about the statement that many thought that Miami was best in the nation. I don't think anyone thought that.
  5. And somehow Michigan is the Big Ten's only hope.
  6. Welp, looks like its Syracuse vs. Florida/Michigan for a spot in the NC Game
  7. Bulls were not doing anything but running the clock for the last few minutes. Dallas had to score pretty much on every possession and they did. How is Butler a 83% FT shooter? I feel like I'm always seeing him miss big ones. Also that should have been a flagrant foul and that directly led to Dallas winning. But at the end of the day, Dallas is desperate for wins and Dirk just didn't miss.
  8. please tell me someone else saw Boozer celebrate an And 1 by punching Danny Crawford in the groin. funniest thing I've seen in awhile.
  9. If you want to be right downtown for a bar, I'd suggest Scotty's or Kilroy's. While I don't love either, both will be full of basketball fans and are the best of subpar bar options downtown (if you have more time this weekend, the Mass Ave area is much better for food/bars, and is in the downtown area too). I was going to say, Mass Ave would be the best place to go but its on the other end of downtown I believe, but the bars are of a much higher quality. Also love the outdoor deck at the Rathskeller on a nice night.
  10. No they traded it for Kevin Love I loved that we played hardball and ended up getting him without giving up Jimmy Butler.
  11. Holy hell that is huge. Makes you realize how small the footprint of Wrigley is compared to modern ballparks where a jumbotron that size doesnt stand out nearly as much.
  12. Lmao. Noah looks like the last thing he wants to do is be interviewed by Sager in the closing minutes of a Gator game.
  13. FGCU celebrates Michigans win and then congratulate/hug TH Jr as he comes through the tunnel. Weird
  14. That had to have been a designed play where no one really expected him to be that open after turning the corner.
  15. I know. In real time when he turned the corner I was thinking we were going to double OT. I quite enjoy sports right now. Sorry snood
  16. crap...knew that was coming. Gotta keep hitting those FTs
  17. man, don"t you look stupid I'm quite used to it...its my patented reverse jinxing.
  18. Have you forgotten the part where Kansas gets points in the paint at will?
  19. Take back the burke dissing
  20. and now i get this refs/kansas thing I always see on this board
  21. you're really [expletive] weird I love Burke, he's been doing a great job finding McGary and creating offense, but he's been a pretty poor scorer in the tourney
  22. Burke lifetime in the NCAA tournament: 17-54 shooting (31.4%)
  23. We will see what adjustments Michigan makes, but if Kansas is able to get the ball into the paint that easily in the 2nd half, they sure as hell can shoot 60% for another half. This is just a bad matchup for UM...too much size for KU.
  24. I think overall they should be pretty good next year. I just worry the Big Ten is going to be a nightmare for them with their interior play. Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota should be worse next year. MSU might be worse (only 1 recruit next year and its 3 stars). I mean the Big Ten should still be really good just probably not as good as this year.
  25. I understand the allure of premiere jobs like UCLA, but I kind of like when coaches like Smart and Stevens stick with the program and really allow it to grow into something as opposed to just a couple of nice years. I hated when Dave Leito left DePaul for UVA when he was really started to build something, and he ended up falling flat on his face and is now an assistant at Missouri (after a stint as a head coach in the NBDL)
