  1. Ok well everything is great then. At least a point in every game this year. We rock.
  2. SOB. I turned the game off. Stupid me for making a "we lost" post with time left.
  3. 24-5 in the 3rd alone
  4. We should have just lost 6-0 so I wouldn't have to watch that entire bloodbath. 2 fake losses and one real one in a row.
  5. Yup. We deserved that.
  6. CSN had to show that "no goals in 23 straight short handed situations" graphic.
  7. And the shutoutless streak continues
  8. This would be the most astounding victory in the history of sports if it holds up over the last 8 minutes. Ok maybe not but still.
  9. welp, never thought I'd read that but its true. They are killing us right now.
  10. Ugh....good game. Michigan's offense just doesnt look the same in the OSU and Indiana games. Lots of hero ball, not as much sharing. Stauskas and Robinson just completely disappear leaving Hardaway and Burke to try to take everything on themselves This game doesn't really change my opinion of Michigan though. Gotta protect home court and beat Ohio State on Tuesday
  11. It's gotta be a huge boost for Michigan to shoot 39% for the half, while the other team shoot 56% and only be down on the road. Very interesting half. Michigan doing a good job scoring in transition but there won't be as many of those opportunities as I doubt Indiana will turn it over this much. If Michigan is to win Stauskas or GR3 (combined 2 points on 1-10 shooting) have to produce more offensively. GR3 was pretty much invisible and Stauskas' confidence got worse as the half went on
  12. This is a really cool commercial, if only for the Sayers and to a lesser extent Hester portions http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-super-bowl-commercials/09000d5d826b4cb9/Health-Safety
  13. Jesus Christ, 4-4 from 3 in the first 5 minutes of the game for Indiana. Michigan looks disoriented just like the Ohio State game Michigan 3-9 and Indiana 6-6
  14. Michigan averages 11.7 fouls a game, leads the nation. Commits 2 fouls on the first Indiana possession
  15. looks like Morgan is playing tonight but not playing at 100%
  16. I think a big key is whether Jordan Morgan plays. Less than 2 hours before tipoff and it looks like its still up in the air. Against many teams I think UM would be ok with McGary and Horford eating up the minutes, but against Indiana we need as many quality bigs as possible. They McGary and Horford get into foul trouble like they sort of did against Illinois, it will be hard to recover.
  17. is there any evidence behind your assumption?
  18. Hilarious. For a second I was going to contradict the 18 seasons thing but obviously he is considering this season and 1995 half seasons.
  19. All things considered, it's pretty amazing that he never played for the Cardinals. I think Im going to put up a sporacle quiz 'click on the crappy middle infielders who once played for the cardinals'. Rey Sanchez is a good one because he just seems like a player who would have played for them.
  20. Whenever I think about Vizcaino, I hear Harry saying his name for some reason. One of those early 90's cubs that I will always remember due to being 10-12 years old and collecting baseball cards and having 95% of my knowledge of baseball come from watching Cubs games even though he wasnt that good. It took me awhile to realize that he was the same Vizcaino as the one playing on the Cardinals/Astros in the mid-aughts. Other players in a similar place in my head include Steve Buchelle, Chuck McElroy, Rick Wilkins and Hector Villenueva (catchers are always the coolest position when you're a kid).
  21. An oral history of the Super Bowl Shuffle. Havent read it yet but thought I'd share http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8891771/an-oral-history-super-bowl-shuffle-1985-chicago-bears-iconic-music-video
  22. That's his minor league stats though. Did he play in the minors? whoops i missed that. Why wouldnt they show his ML stats since he didnt accumulate any minor league ones? Probably because that AB was a sham
  23. I tried to tell my girlfriend not to pick the 4 number 1 seeds to reach the final four when she was filling out her bracket one year, and of course that was the year when all of them reached. Whoops.
  24. Hard to argue with your first three. I'm not as sold on Louisville though. I think Louisville just has too much talent and will put it together when the time comes. Indiana/Michigan should be fun. I hate that the game in Ann Arbor is the last B10 game of the season. I feel like it will be overshadowed by the B1G and NCAA tourneys (which is maybe a good thing if UM doesn't win). I'd rather this one be at Michigan. Oh well.
  25. Yeah shootouts are stupid. I'd also rather accept the tie again. In a sport like hockey, its not the end of the world to tie. Regardless of whether we win or lose, most of the time we play in a shootout, I feel like its a tie anyways.
