  1. Every question going into the season has been a yes Can Crawford play like he did 2 years ago? yes Can Hjammer and Oduya hold up as the 2nd pairing? yes Is Nick Leddy going to take the next step? yes Are Toews and Hossa fully recovered? yes While some people say Kane has been pretty lucky so far, Sharp has been very unlucky hitting the post seemingly once a game. Don't forget "Can the special teams not suck this year?" The PP has faded a bit and the sample size is still small but we've gone from 25th in PP and 26th in PK to 16th and 1st
  2. Haha I figured if the Blackhawks were around .500 after the brutal 10 in 12 on the road start, I'd be satisfied. I certainly didn't expect the Hawks to be undefeated in regulation, 10-0-2 overall, have a 7 point lead in the division and 3 more points than any other team in the NHL after this stretch.
  3. We did it!!!! A shutout! First shutout since April 2011

  5. Ok Duke came back and won. Disregard that post. I still think Indiana will stay 1 despite the loss to Illinois. That was an extremely impressive road win today. Normally they wouldn't stay 1 but when the 2,3 and 5 teams all lost and Duke doesn't inspire confidence in anyone, they will probably get the nod.
  6. lol Duke is losing to BC now if that holds (down 3 with 2 minutes left), I think its pretty much a reset and Indiana stays #1. Man if Indiana had lost today, Gonzaga could have had a slight shot to jump up to #1. Guessing Indiana and Florida will remain 1-2, Gonzaga and Arizona jump up to 3-4, Miami 5
  7. They're doing that stupid [expletive] thing again this year? Only bad things can come of that, like Campana winning and the "fans" pointing to that as being a reason he should be starting over Soriano. Who cares....extra long spring training this year because of the WBC correct?
  8. Great work by SNL last night to spoof the blackout. http://deadspin.com/5983117/saturday-night-lives-cold-open-spoofed-the-super-bowl-blackout
  9. Who is 23? He killed you guys on that half court play and also on letting Berg have such an easy look for a 3 at the end of OT. Berg is not going to kill you penetrating and if he does it would only be 2 points. Levert is actually put in those situations for defense and has had some success there this year but I agree he didn't really do the job today at all. He's a freshman playing critical minutes on the road. Love this Michigan team but we are getting a lot of critical mistakes down the stretch. McGary missed a fast break layup in OT, Stauskas had a critical turnover that led to the game winning 3, and I'm not sure Glenn Robinson III actually played in this game. Ill have to watch the game again. Robinson and Stauskas also had bad turnovers down the stretch in the OSU game that almost blew that game too. It's hard to get angry though because they are freshman and will get better and despite the mistakes we beat OSU and did everything but win this one.
  10. How does the most efficient offense in the country score 6 total points in 10 minutes of overtime this week? Agh sorry still pissed off over the game. Gonna have recurring nightmares of that half court shot for weeks. Just finally got over Evan Turners.
  11. Michigan 1-3 on the road against the Top 5 of the league. MSU next Most enraging sports loss for me in a long time.
  12. I think it would be Duke again by default, or possible Indiana if they win in Columbus this weekend. You'd be looking at a week when the #1, 2, 3 and 5 teams all lost.
  13. so hard to watch
  14. I'm so glad Michigan only has to play Wisconsin once this season. 14 mins left in the 1st and its 5-5 and I am dead bored.
  15. I cant remember...was that meeting with Prior before or after he killed Aaron Harrang?
  16. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/chi-chicago-bulls-toronto-raptors-trade-20130207,0,1586359.story Sounds unlikely because of Booz's contract though. Isn't Nate Robinson a slighty better scoring/slightly worse defending verision of John Lucas?
  17. Lets round em all up so you can laugh at them
  18. Florida lost to Arkansas on Tuesday Forgot about that. So yeah Michigan should be back to #1 with a win Saturday Possibly until they play at MSU next week...then its Dukes turn again.. and the carousel keeps turning.
  19. Florida lost to Arkansas on Tuesday
  20. Meh, Gonzaga isnt a major conference team but you gotta include them among the major 2 loss teams...they have a SOS comparable to many major conference teams.
  21. Seriously, where where these goals in the playoffs last year? Smith just decided to start letting them go in now?
  22. Keep it coming! At this point, I don't even want this team to go back to Chicago
  23. Celtics lose 5 in a row, lose Rondo, then win 6 in a row. Go figure
  24. Haha I'd love to see what the committee does with an Illini team that goes 7-11 in the conference with wins @ Gonzaga, Butler neutral, and vs. Indiana and Ohio State. Nice win! With Florida and Indiana losing Michigan can get back to #1 with a win at Wisky this weekend.
  25. This is going over well in Wolverineland
