    Jonathan Quinn would pick apart this defense with the amount of time they've given him to throw. Everything breaks down when you have 10 seconds to throw every play.

    Dude, risk analysis? Really? I don't really care. It was a successful challenge, and I'm expecting the Bears to make that [expletive] stop on the 4th down, too. The refs made a bad call, and I for one am glad the coach can recognize that and hold them accountable with the challenge. Don't really care to discuss it more. Yeah really, every coaching decision is made based on risk vs. reward. In this situation, the potential reward (a 4th and an inch that gets converted into a 1st 90-95% of the time) is not worth risking a TO that the Bears might really need in a close game. Also factoring in how hard it is to overturn a ball spot when you are talking about a matter of inches.

    Ugh if we lose this we are 0-1 in the division having lost maybe the easiest possible of the division games (unless you argue Lions at home was easier). Not good for tiebreakers, but I guess at this point tiebreakers are the least of our concerns.

    Nah I doubt it. From what I understand Hester hasnt taken reps on offense the entire time Trestman has been coach. I don't think Hester has much of an idea of the routes being run.

    OK, you can say he won't be successful. But don't say that's a "bad challenge." It's clearly worth a try. Ball came out clearly short of the marker, and there are pretty good angles. He may lose it, but it's not bad to challenge this. Why? The reward is minimal on that challenge IMO. It was very very close and at best you get a 4th and inches that a team will convert 95% of the time for a 1st. It's not worth risking 1 of your TOs It's easy to say that now that they went for it. That was a big risk they took. If they don't get it there, the whole game may turn around against the Vikes. It was a good challenge, and a successful one. No I actually said that before the challenge was even made. That is literally somewhere between a 90-95% success rate. If you do a risk analysis I'm confident that the potential reward in that situation does not outweigh the risk.
